VF-1 vers 3.0 coming soon?

At this point I think it would make more sense for Yamato or Bandai to go with non-transformable fighter-mode only toys in 1:72 scale. Fighter mode is the most popular mode for Valkyries and sticking to one mode only would result a faster development time and less expensive toy. To give one an example, a MRC Easy Model (a line of pre-built 1/72 plastic display models) F-15 Eagle costs about US$40 MSRP. How about a Yamato 1/72 fighter mode only VF-1 at that price?

I've been wanting fighter mode only models for a while now, maybe someday they will actually do it.
