Terrance Wong
Will Windex strip Tamiya? I know several people have used it as a thinner for airbrushing. Next question: Are there any other household chemicals other than Windex and rubbing alcohol that strip Tamiya?
kam63
I use windex to clean up my airbrush and bottles, but I neverd herd of anybody using it for a thinner
Noyhauser
I use isopropynol Alcohol, it works wickedly to remove it. I had to remove paint from a whole YF-21 once and it did wonders.
Terrance Wong
I know that stuff works (I've used it, but I'm running very low, so I'm looking for alternatives.). Hmm...Maybe I should be the first to strip with Windex? Can't hurt the plastic...
Anasazi37
I use Windex all the time to strip Tamiya paints. It works wonders and doesn't hurt the plastic. For particularly difficult stripping I use Easy Off Oven Cleaner, although it's pretty nasty stuff.
