wf-1-flight.jpgMai-Otome #22 story "Horobinouta"

Designed VWF-1(Fe.) "Walkure" is transformable Walkure.

GEM and the nano-machine are assumed to be mediation by the size of the suit of 2.0 meter or less, and the protection of motive power and Otome is united.

It is possible to transform it into three stages of the high-speed and long lange flight-mode (fighter) to assult attack mode (Gerwalk or Guardian?) , at last

Walkure (power armor -humanoid mode) in type and the charge for the grapple without impossibility. The main pilot is "Tomoe Margueritte" and "Chie Harald" and otherss.

A lacquer black arrangement of color is a hint of installing as for the function of ..

drinking.. Stealth. .

Err, Macross does not have the market cornered on tri-transformable mecha. It could be based on a number of others (Orguss, Mospeada, etc). While the name is an obvious tie (using the german spelling, anyway), I think the line probably stops there.

OK......why not we make this the Mai Otome thread eh? After watching Mai Otome, especially the final episode, I saw "tributes" to Gundam Seed Destiny (this is by Sunrise after all). These blogs have the screenshots. (SPOILERS)

And apart from that, i noticed the BGM insert in episode 24 and 26 is the same song as the "Next Episode Previews" from Gundam Seed Destiny too.

And GSD aside, I enjoyed Otome but not more than HiME which i thought was a better show. Otome had alot of important plot events that you'd forget easily and when they become important 10 episodes later, flashbacks don't refresh your memory. But overall i enjoyed Otome especially with all its homages and references to the HiME series.
