Question on painting 1/48

Has anyone taken a 1/48 and completely painted it? And not have the paint come off after transformations?

VERY important that I can find a way to stop paint coming off !

I know a clear coat will help, but has anyone done it? With good results?

And Im talking bout making the whole thing a different colour, not just a stripe here n there...

Are you refering to the paint on the entire Valkyrie, or the paint situated between joints, pivot points, and whatnot? If it's a part that will come into constant contact with others, then the paint will wear eventually, as was made clear to me by my new Low-Availability-Valkyrie. I've had it a week and it's already losing paint...
