Did any of our fellow MWers in Malaysia and Singapore watch this movie yet, as it premiered there last Thursday?

Went to watch this not expecting much, but man, thoroughly entertained! It's not the classic Robocop, and i don't think it tries to be, but it's a good enough movie on it's own! No spoilers, but when you catch it on screen, there's a scene which will show you what robo is deep down... *wink*

Prefer the old ED-209 still tho. Although this version is ok.

Awesome concert, Fukuyama really knows how to work the crowd. I think the duets at the end (Acoustic Diamond Crevasse and Dynamite Explosion) alone is worth the price of admission.

the kino in taka and bugis never got them. the kino in liang court sold out within a couple of days of arrival. i missed out on the last copy by just a few hours when i droppped by then. if only i had stepped out during lunch break... sigh

The VF-11B is great, but i guess i was one of the unlucky few to actually have TWO left thigh armors for the fast pack! d'oh! Luckily the store which i got it from let me swap out for the correct part.

Can't believed i missed that when i chose the box. And to think i almost did not open it to inspect....

Hiya! For those interested, i used parts no. (5) and (9) from the MODE LOCK arbalest kit from WAVE (is it wave?). The

ball joints fit perfectly for the Ozma toy. There is a way to make it look even better, but it requires a bit of modification to

the joint so it fits closer to the head.

It's great for those who want to keep it in battroid mode, and doesn't take much to do.

Got my VF-25's today, alto is pretty ok... Ozma's VF-25's head looks pretty fine too actually.. not! Shame on u for this

the Strike VF-1S, have tried most combinations of special skills, but no go. How's you guys 'S' this mission?

My son has the same problems while playing Gears, he gets alot of the clean disk error, then the drive door won't open, the game just locks up, etc. Only with Gears so far, he's having no problems with Dead Rising. The system was made in Feb. 06.

I was playing N3 onthe 360 last night, and about 10 mins into the game, it just rebooted again! screen blanks, then you see the 360 logo, and finally the

dashboard. But the drive wouldn't open till i powered it off a few times... it also made a horrific screech while my disc was inside, thankfully, the

disc wasn't scratched.

I tried reseating the HDD (as suggested on the support site) and also changed the optical cable.. which brings me to the next point. I decided to play using

the 360 VGA cable instead (which i also bought)... and i played the same game for 2 hours plus non-stop... darnnit..

So i'm thinking, could it be because i'm routing my output to my AV reciever, and then to my TV? I'm gonna try playing without the optical cable 1st (no sound )

then i'll try plugging it straight to my TV.

Why oh why... do you guys think it's worth switching to an Elite?

Welcome to being a 360 owner! Seriously...take the sucker back. If they don't take it back, you can deal with the MS warranty and get a shiny new...refurb. Honestly, I would hold off on new 360 purchases until the new chip models are released. Hopefully they'll be a tad more reliable.

Hmm, was wondering whether any 360 owners here have experienced the following? Was just playing gears the other day, and the

360 just suddenly rebooted to the opening Xbox 360 screen, it would then hang, with the power light blinking (No rings) and the dvd tray

refused to open. I had to power down the whole set, wait for a bit, then turn it on and quickly press the open button for the tray...

The same thing happened again with GRAW2, and i thought my connections or optical cable was bad, so i swapped it out, but it happened

AGAIN when i played HEXIC....

Anyone have any idea what could cause this? Mine's a new premium set, about a month old only... darnnit!

I just downloaded it last night, suprised that it was only a 300MB download. Too bad i dun have a HDTV yet... but i tried it on my monitor at 1280x1024 and i gotta say, awesome! Feels like most other AC's from 3-Zero, but as DH said, i'm still more used to the PS2 pad than the 360's trigger buttons. The amount of jets in the air and the missile trails AA fire in the air esp above the fleet was amazing.....

Haha, at the last part, with the missiles launched, sure reminded me of stonehenge or the arkbird's laser... guess it'll be another "fly below a 1000 feet!" thing!

Still love it though..

according to a gaming forum i was reading (so not a 100% reliable source) all of Namco's xbox 360 releases to date have been world-region.

That's great! Really hoping that i can play the US version of it..

For those of you with the new Jin-Roh igure, I was wondering if you knew about the pieces that look like they are missing in the tray next to the main figure's legs? A dealer told me that they come like that on all the figures, and the black stickers look like they say something about it that I can't read. Wish I had a better closeup pic, but I don't.

Those spaces are for the backpack and MG34 + the fully suited up figure. There's a site out there which shows how it's supposed to be placed...

Any one going to do a step by step transformation instruction for the VF-0S in English? I remember the YF-19 and Monster had that done!

On a side note, i find the connector behind the leg which connects to the back in fighter mode quite difficult to seperate... is there a proper way of doing this or do i just yank them apart?

On the 1/48 VF-1 this was a 'L' shaped piece which just slotted in to keep the legs inplace. now on the VF-0S, it has a catch, which even though holds it securely, is quite tough to seperate!!!

Just added my review of the Yamato 1/60 scale VF-0S toy.

Great review graham! There one portion though on the amount of die-cast :

"The toy is constructed mostly of a matte finished white and grey ABS plastic. The only diecast metal parts being the left and right LERX and the front and rear landing gear struts. The tires on the rotating wheels are rubber. The pilot is made of some sort of gummy rubber-like material, probably PVC."

I think the swingbar connecting the legs are also die-cast? Someone correct me if i'm wrong!

Do you have a completed game save from AC5? That's what unlocks it if it's your first play through.  And I don't think you'll get the Falken that easily. But yes, if you blow everything up on the field (that windmill doesn't stand a chance!), the mercenary class is easy to get.

Yup, I've both the AC4 and 5 save files in the mem card, It's not my first playthrough though, i'm only on mission 8, but the X-02 is already in the hanger! (it unlocked afer mission 1) You mean i'm supposed to clear the game once before i'm able to get the X-02? Maybe it's a bug!

Hayao, are your Valks coming directly from Japan supplier?

I am just hoping that some of these defects are bootlegged Valks that have yet gone through QC and sleaked out to HK for sale...is that possible??

Your problem reminds me of the time i bought my Max VF-1J..... lotsa QC problems, and each time i brought it back to change, the 'new' one also had another problem ( two right flaps, etc.) ! Got a ok one by the 3rd try.

So it's possible these are 'out the back door'... especially if they seem too cheap to be true... Worse thing was, these VF-1J's were 'fresh' out of a new carton...

Anyway, had no problems with the VF-0S at all... a real beaut!

On a side note, the X-02 unlocked for me when i completed the first mission ( and moved into the 'knight' style), just that i don't have the money to buy it yet! So i assume the falken will unlock when i go into the 'mercernary' style?

However, whatever i seem to do now keeps me in the Knight style! I assume i gotta blow up everything to become a mercernary right?
