I'm hardly ever on this board anymore, I just keep tabs on the model and sales section (seeing the comments in his sales thread lead me here), and i could care less about this guy, or the fact he's banned or gets un-banned, but I know this... learn to suffer fools; to tolerate other people that aren't like you, act like you, think like you, etc; it's part of real life, you're doing yourself a disservice by pushing or blocking this type of person from your everyday instead of learning to deal with them, in real life and on the web. Imagine "banning" your boss from your life, or putting your mother in law on "ignore", would it get you anywhere? It's the lazy easy way out.

He's SOOOO enthusiastic and energetic about Macross and this site? Why don't you guys use this to your advantage? Get him involved in a MW webpage project, or give him an actual responsibility on the site, etc. Seems from what I read he'll give you 100% effort and say "thank you sir, may I have another".

Edit: here's a suggestion for a responsibility; as part of his "parole", he's made the Official MW Spam Sweeper - he's responsible to browse through ALL the threads, checking the daily posts, and to mark the ones that fit the definition of a SPAM post. The marked posts would generate into a daily report sent to the mods, one of whom could review it before deleting the SPAM posts in bulk. If anyone has the brilliant idea of spamming on purspose to give him more work, he could flag the behavior to a mod for them to review and deal with, etc. This place would be squeeky clean in no time.

This guy hit the nail on the head! I like he idea of turning this behavior into an advantage for the site.

I had one that I had to sell and I am pretty sure that it was an all blue box. It had a piece of syran wrap keeping the lid closed. But since I never opened it past that I can be positive.

That really sucks. I really wanted one with a blue box. Leave it to Yamato to not put the finishing touches on.

I don't know if this thread is in the right place. Please let me know if it is not. Does anybody know why the recent VF-1S weathering specials have an regular VF-1S black box and a blue weathering special slip cover? Are these real or counterfeits ? Why would they not have the all blue box? If they are real does anybody know if they are coming out with the all blue box version again?

I got some from him awhile ago and they showed up in great shape.

I was thinking about a evil jetfire. Dark gray with a dark purple. I not sure yet. I am just trying to get in touch with somebody. I am having Kurt do a 1/48 VF-1D custom for me. I know that this is way out of my league. I have an extra jet fire that I will try to start on if no one does 1/55's.

Does anybody know who does customization on 1/55's? I have a VF-1s Bandai that has yellowing and I am thinking of converting it to a new color scheme.

I need a couple of springs to repair a VF-1S and an Elintseeker. I am recently acquired a VF-1S that needs repair and I have had an Elintseeker that has needed repair. I have a hard time cannibalizing any of my good valks for the parts no matter what shape they are in. I am hoping that some Macross World users have some extra parts laying around that they are willing to part with. Please help me out.

I know that Silverdragon is the guy for this but he is currently backordered and I have not heard back from him in awhile. CARDS & COMICS CENTRAL in San Francisco on Geary street is AWESOME. They have alot of every kind of toy collectible. Some of there stuff is overpriced but some of it are great deals. They do deal better if you talk to the manager or owner and offer cash. Be careful there I went there for Macross stuff and spent $1000 on non Macross stuff. Check it out!

The problem could stem from two things:

1. Weak screw tension.

2. Nub on the black lock is worn or warped.

1. So I would just tighten the screw in the nose landing gear?

2. Change the black lock?

My nose landing gear on my 1/55 VE-1 no longer latches closed. I have bought some spare parts Valks but have no idea how to repair it. I have taken the spare parts valks apart and think I have an ok idea of how to do it. But before I pull apart my expensive VE-1 I was hoping that some Macross world members might have some pointers that they could give me.

Dude don't worry about it you have not offended me! I just had no idea that they were worth so little. Upon finding this out I have just decided to keep them as a spare set for the future. Be patient; what you are looking for will turn up this is a great site for these kinds of things! Good luck!

Does anybody know what a good price for a Takatoku VF-1J Blue Max? I am looking for a complete one with a complete sticker sheet is. I recently saw one for $290 and wanted to know if that is a good price. It seems a little high to me but I am admittedly out of my league on the old Takatoku's.

I recently saw a 1/55 VF-1D for sale on this website but unfortunately it was already gone. I have the conversion kits for the 1/48's and will be getting them done soon. Does anybody know who does the 1/55 conversions?

Well currently you can get a brand new VF-1J Stealth at HLJ for 7400 YEN approx. $66 USD. So it's not that great of a deal to get it for $100 USD.

Where can you get one for $66? I would like to get two for that price. Are they new?
