Robotech was my first introduction to Macross. Love it or hate that is what we had. The story has since lost its appeal to me but I still love the valkyries. I have seen Macros Pluss and I think its a good movie with a lousy ending. I've seen Macross Zero and I absolutely loved it unitl the last episode. To me that was what valkyries were meant to be! I'm crazy enough to think Macross Zero works best if you ignore everything that came afterward. There were at three more episodes worth of story there.
