Nice reference to Fat Man and Little Boy by calling the DE Bomb 'Little Girl'. Is anyone else getting tired of the lack of information behind the Vajra? There doesn't seem to be a motive or purpose, nor a history or origin and it's really getting to me.

men, I have a 3200+ system with 2 GB of ram and I have problems, not always but I have it
That's odd that you guys have problems, I used to use a 3.2 P4, 1GB RAM and the only thing it would ever really choke on was 1080p content.

Anyone else notice the strong allusion to the Kennedy assassination too?
Also, what is with the hate for .mkv files? Just get the CCCP and you can play pretty much everything http://www.cccp-project.net/

Also noticed that Ozma ate the paper off his Super Chili Chili Dog. Must have been HUNGRY.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed!
I really enjoyed the episode though, nice to see some plot advancement, backstory and relationships evolve without deviation or pointless sillyness.

This isn't related to the episode, but the Lion leak in the first post: Does anyone have a working copy of the single? IZArc can't extract the files.
Edit: nevermind, winrar worked( but I don't like winrar )

Where is Shin, ya wanker!

Loved the episode, but noticed quite a lot of animation re-use.

There's a picture somewhere of its 3D model on someones workstation of it in fighter, gerwalk and battroid modes.
Yeah, something about the canards and the wing design screams SV-51 variant to me(but so does the VF-25's thrust nozzles), but I'm sure it wont be called that or be related. I wonder if they're trying to integrate a Macross Plus feel where the SMS has been given the VF-25 and another division has been given the VF-27 and they're doing field testing to see who to award the contract to.

Thanks!
VF-27 "Blink and you missed it"No kidding...How did people even identify it as red too?
edit: It looks like some kind of SV-51 variant

....What red fighter from the opening? All I can see is the VF-25, or am I missing something?

Ugh...Zero. If I thought that was the one disappointment to the Macross franchise before, Frontier really drives the final nail in the coffin for that OVA. Frontier is actually enjoyable to watch whereas Zero, I was just wondering when the next dogfight was going to happen.
Edit: Alright, maybe not entirely true about M0 only being worth it for the mecha pr0n. But Frontier certainly delivers on the parts where Zero was a failure as far as a Macross series goes.
Up until that it, that was pure blasphemy coming from you. The reason I love Zero so much is how much more real and serious and down to earth it is; It answers the question of why use variable fighters( beyond fighting zentraedi ), showing yes, F-14s and MiGs are great and all, but they just don't stand a chance against a variable.

VF-25, The VF-0 and the VF-1 with the 'badass' knob cranked way up...even past 11.

The one thing I really didn't like about this episode was that they didn't try to reinforce the fact that Ranka leaving is something terrible happening.
Edit: I guess that's one gripe I have with the entire season, the character bonds weren't enforced very well. The relationships don't feel very interesting or different from eachother( Alto & Sheryl/Ranka ) like how Hikaru's relationships with Minmei and Misa were very different from eachother and I was more invested in the relationships. I don't have the same connection I do with the characters in Frontier as I did with the original series and Zero(along with Eva and Elfen Lied if you want to keep the list going) where I just wanted them to be happy.
