Yes, the 31A box was sealed by 3 round clear tape until I opened it, its just missing the brown shipper box. It doesn't bother me though since the toy is complete. 

Errr I just received my vf-31a from NY but it was not in the brown shipper box. 

If I'm not mistaken isn't it suppose to be in one?

got my 31a shipping notice from NY, don't give up

I said f-it, and ordered one from BiJ, not long after it was sold out. I wonder if they knew they could get a set amount and had a couple reserved. What happens if they cant get one? do I get a full refund or minus some cash for their trouble, but then why put up something to sale if they couldn't guarantee one? I never been in a situation where you put money down for something you might not get.

edit: does the VF-Jkai have unique fast packs to buy, or does it just use the old J FP's?

stupid question: Are these things the exact same as the ones sold in Japan but just with the robotech branding?

Yep, got the HLJ email, at least I got one at amiami.

So after all this madness, I just checked my HLJ shopping cart account and there was a VF-31 just chillin' there. So I went ahead and continued with the purchase, checked out and it looks like I have 2x VF-31

I had a similar story, I was checking both amiami and HLJ. I got the VF-31 in the cart at HLJ but it was super slow and kept taking me to "sorry there was a problem" screen, so I decided to forget HLJ and just concentrate on Amiami. After getting the "sorry that item has been sold out" at Amiami which seemed like a million times I finally got one in my cart and checked out. So I was done with the PO madness I only wanted 1, time to do other stuff.

So like after an hour of watching Netflix I come back online to HLJ and see The vf-31 still in the cart and decide what the hell won't hurt if I try again,and guess what? the order went through.

Is the display stand a new design or is it the same one that was released previously?

Cool, but how would you import this to the U.S.? Wouldn't they have to paint the tip of the gunpod Orange to comply with US laws?
