  1. If you would have gotten that toy earlier, I actually had the whole right arm that I got from a junker lot I bought off of ebay.

Doh! I could have used the right arm. I also don't have any of the guns.

The picture is just one I found on http://www.mrtwo.net/mr2modproject/toys/orguss/pics.htm to show which robot I got. No box or anything. Still the joints are pretty tight so $2 was good even if I have to display it partially behind something to hide the fact that it is missing parts.

  2. I found a large Orguss toy at a toy show yesterday. It is the main one that is light blue/green & turns into at least 3 things. Wings hang off its back in robot mode, it has yellow trim around its neck, the cockpit is in the crotch & the head has a flip up shield. It stands about 9" tall (about the same as a 1/55 Valk). It is missing a couple of parts so I am probably going to try to find a junker to complete this one with.

Anyone know what scale this is and other facts? I looked on ebay and only found models and small toys.

  3. Personally, I'd like Star Wars better with no Jedis in it.

I think a between series would be cool. Empire up to strength and the start of the rebellion. Vader could be around since it is just a guy in a suit (the voice would probably get a new actor).

I guess they could still have Luke in it similar to the way they did the Indy Jones series. Have an older Luke be teaching a class of new Jedi and fade into the story Luke is telling.

  4. Today I found a Galaxy Defender version of the VF-17. It has a grey camo paint job. There are some minor changes like the addition of tail fins like the real stealth fighter has. It is a little smaller than the Bandai verion. Like the VF-1S, it actually is contructed pretty good for a knock-off toy. It comes with a shield and a gun. The cool thing is that the gun securly attatches to the plane mode and the shield can fit on to it and it doesn't stick out at all. While the plane is still fatter than a real stealth, I actually think the plane mode looks better on this toy than the Bandai version.

I'll try to get some pictures of it later.

  5. People should get the hint by now. They have no actual plans to release Zeta. They just like to get people's hopes up by saying it is on the way (Otakon 2 years ago, it was 'on the way'). Then they go back to the offices and have a good laugh at all the fans that are looking forward to it. It might be released in 5 years.

  6. to appear on the first four episodes of the new season. Lois will investigate Chloe's death.

I got the feeling that maybe the bomb blast was the FBI's way to take Chloe into hiding. They went into the house, went into some safe room as the rest of the house blew up. Everyone thinks they are dead so the FBI can take them somewhere safe without people knowing.

Lois could still show up since the rest of the world thinks Chloe's dead.

  7. thats the thing. in t3 it says skynet wasn't a computer in a bunker but all the computers in the world. even if it infected an updated computer system unlike those old ones shown in the bunker john and his future wife got tricked into, skynet would still destroy vast parts of itself.

Skynet knew which targets it would aim the nukes at so it wouldn't put important info on computers in that area, or it had multiple copies of itself so if one part got blasted, the info would still remain. It spread through every computer to prepare for the nukes. Keeping communications jammed and people not in control to try to stop it.

  8. For example, Doraemon, and Hayao Miyazaki movies are massive events.

Considering that Hayao Miyazaki is considered the Walt Disney of Japan, its no wonder that these will get accepted by the general public more than other anime. Besides Shrek, most non-Disney cartoons don't get the vast audience that a Disney production does.

  9. i really wish anime would have caught on a bit better here, especialy with the more mature storylines and long story arcs, i'm not a huge fan of purely episode based shows.

Did I miss something. Anime is huge in America right now. Huge sections of video stores are devoted to Anime tapes/DVDs, racks of manga in bookstores like Waldenbooks, some top games are based on anime (Yu Gi Oh, Pokemon), the majority of cartoons on the air now are either anime imports or influenced by anime (Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans). A Waldenbooks near me even has a section of anime merchandise besides DVDs or books. I don't think anime has ever been more popular here.

  10. Maybe they should just base the royalty fees based on how well the game sells. Lower amount of games sold=higher fees. All that really matters is how the public likes the game right? If the companies did a good job making the game, more people would probably want to buy it.

Maybe take the reviews into consideration but don't totally base the fee's on it. I personally hate football games so I would probably give it a lower rating then I would some action game. It might be the best game ever for football but if I don't like them, don't expect the best marks.

  11. Macross 2012 (something like that). It takes place right after DYRL and is pretty much just a bunch of music videos. It has Minmay's final Earth concert and then her, Misa, & Hikaru jump on the colony ship and leave.

Also is the US dub of the first episode of SDF: Macross. They then changed direction and did Robotech. It is on the extras disk of Robotech DVD box 1.
