  1. I think somebody misunderstand the optional pack.

Now there are two optional set will sell Tamashii online store like Alto custom super pack for DX.

The website I told before already indicated

It said Tamashii sote will open pr order during 3/25 ~ 4/25

    http://meteorstyle.nobody.jp/macross-f.html

Gallia IV set : 1/60 Ranka figure, Fold booster and sound booster.

Ghost set: only one Ghost in one set, and missle sets.

If somebody want to collect 3 ghosts. It means you need order 3 ghost sets.

It is not like model kit already including 3 ghosts in the package.

DX RVF-25 is only RVF-25 and super pack.

DX VF-25G is only VF-25G and super pack.

  2. man, those karate-chop hands really don't suit a valk... karate chopping Bandai SOC daimos yes, Bandai DX VF-25 valk no...

    Ha ha, sorry about that.

I tried to modify gerwalk position, so I forgot changeing karate hand.

I think no one notice it, but I am wrong....

Yeah - the fact that the fingers aren't posseable on a "DX" figure is terrible. Also - this particular VF-25 in the pictures above seems to have been panel-lined; because the under-wing carriage looks much better.

But not good enough to get me to like it.

    Pete

Yes, I used gundam pan to draw the line because I don't like valkirye with clear surface.

  3. Thanks drifand 's suggestion

I just modified my VF-25F thigh and heel.

In the begining, My gerwalk needs a small stand below its nose...

I also agree with Graham. Bandai doesn't do a good job in this diecast toy.

Comparing with prototype of DX VF-25, it still has neck, and outline is better than now.

I don't know why Bandai changes original design.

Maybe Shoji Kawamori decides final version.

  4. to be honest i'm still really disappointed with this toy i know this still could have been done a lot better i feel like they just did like a rush job and try to sell as much as possible then move on. its just so in accurate in every aspect. its true though they did a good job at packaging. saves up tons of space wish yamato can learn from that save shipping and everything. Over all I still think yamato should have done this job, coz I know they care about being accurate. one more thing wish the license is not just for bandai alone, I hope that other companies can do a take at this line and do justice on it.

One day if Bandai put Macross series into soul of chogokin, the VF series will become perfect.

Because VF-25 is not in soul of chogokin series, it is still not perfect.

In my opinion, the elite design group in Bandai only desgins soul of chogokin series.

Other series just for junior toy designers to increase their experience.

Anyway, Bandai still gives us a good toy for play not for display.

Not like Yamato Macross series, you need play it carefully, otherwise you will need to order spare part for your skull team.

  5. Alto super pack news! (And I hate to be the bare of bad news)

Has this been brought up before?

    Source: http://www.amiami.com/shop/?vgForm=Product...ku=TOY-RBT-0587

see the red underline on second photo (a rough translation by yours truly)?.

It seems that you NEED UNASSEMBLED VF-25F alto to fit in the Super pack!

Other sources (dalong.net, and ruliweb) mentions that one may need to unassemble up to 1/3 of the kit in order to fit in the adopters for the super pack.

..........SON OF A BYTCH!! What about those of us who already finished and sealed the kit?

BLUF (bottom line up front).,Those of us who already assembeld, painted, decaled, and sealed the kit.... might as well as get the new unassembled kit with the super pack.

If there is someone else in this forum can translate Japanese better than me, pleeeeease tell me I am wrong!!

Whoo~~, you don't see my post on #578

I already post it, but not many people notice.

  6. Anybody with an exact description of the ball joint that they used to fix their Ozma? I know someone has used a hip joint cannibalized from the GNU VF-11B, but not everybody hates the GNU-DOU line that much ^_^

What I try to understand is

He cuts ball joint from original joint and combine with kotobukiya double joint ( part number myabe D-108 or D-113)

For the neck, I am not sure waht he says

  7. Oh are they not limited edition? But so far nothing on HLJ or Rainbowten, and all the other February releases (Luca, SMS base, super packs) are already out?

    On Amiami website.

It says those two kits are Feburary re-issue, not new products.

The only different is original model kit + Sheryl decal.

I also check other JP toy stores, only Amiami has these items.

Because it is Saturday in JP, most online toy stores will not update during weekend.

I recommend check website next week.

  8. ^^^

I should have said Macross 7, my mistake, just want to see Yamato being able to make use of such license,

instead of locking it and not making use of it, here's hoping they might as Shin has pointed out with the movie coming on...

Shin - Must admit it would be cool if they made Mac 7 stuff, but not re-release their sub par Chunky monkeys.

Bandai start to sell Macross 7 1/100 & 1/144 model kit ( same as selling during 94/95)

    http://www.noda-ya.com/html/syohin/plastickit/02700703.htm

Bandai either resell this kind of old stuff or will start Macross 7 product line.

Who knows, Bandai alwasy does what we can't expect

  9. On another topic, does anyone know if the Alto Costum VF-25 that comes with Super packs is different in any way from the original release or will it be the same exact model except, of course, having parts to build the Super-Packs? I already have the Messiah so i'll probably only get the stand alone Packs, but if there are differences, enginearing wise, to the model, i might have to start thinking of buying the bundle.

I think it's the same. Because model kit can't directly take off/ put on super pack, you need exchange 30% parts from VF-25.

In my opinion, the only different way is

Super pack alone is including 4 color sticker

VF-25F + super pack bundle only has Alto custom sticker.

    Hobby Search. http://1999.co.jp/eng

But they don't have it up from pre-order. So I can't say whether or not they'll get it.

    Which one?

    1/72 RVF-25 Luca custom

    http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10081680

    1/72 Superpack alone

    http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10082660

    1/72 VF-25F + super pack bundle

    http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10082660

    Action base S.M.S. custom

    http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10082661

I think I list all products relating to 1/72 Macross F model kits.

  10. There is also a movie coming in summer, and I have a feeling Bandai will be making a lot of Macross products this year, especially during movie season. I can see a bundle for Alto happening, hell I'll wait for it, by then it might even have changes implemented for the better, like a shield that can store the gunhands.

Yea, I foret the movie edition. It's a good way to extend product line.

Anyway, maybe sell VF-25 Mass productoin type for exclusive....

If so then there would have to be an error in the listing since it states スーパーパーツ(Super Pack) not アーマーパーツ (Armor Pack).

    ).

As I mention before, either super pack or Armor pack because only this website announces this information.

Maybe Bandai will give exact product name after March (VF-25G and RVF-25 are in the market)

  11. In my opinion, Bandai maybe sell bundle.

First, Macross F is a new anime, like other animes in Japan now. The product life time in market is short.

Bandai can sell bundle to extend Macross F product line, also make money again, like Yamato.

Second, If someone buy Super pack alone, 99%that person has VF-25 before, but the person owns VF-25 not means he will buy super pack later.

If all super packs just sell on web store. Bandai restricts its business.

Third, Macross F products is not like Soul of Chogokin, Saint Saiya can sell severial years, even over 10 years. Bandai should use all ways to sell this product line.

In fact, Bandai always does waht we can't believe. I think The new information may publish later, or after March.

Also, I believe bandi will sell super pack without personal trim because VF-25 mass production type already appears in Macross F.
