  1. Wondering if they are doing some extra research on Messer's remains or body if Keith killed him that eloquently. Something about the fact that in Ep 9, the fact that Johnson and Arad were allowed to have him continue to operate in Delta Platoon despite having VAR Syndrome on the proviso that they keep on feeding back data on him to Lady M.

Even, so I'm not expecting a comeback from him at this point in time.

  2. The beam gunpod for the Siegfried seems to be standard and stored in the weapons pack mounted at the back of the VF. In the OP1, you can see at the end of it Hayate's Siegfried holding it, and the storage space on the weapons pod exposed.

Man I've loving the Siegfried now. Arad going in with double knives. The weapons and defense layout on the arms are so cool, defend with the PPBS, hack slash and stab with the knives, shoot from the forearms if necessary, with the beam gunpod independently tracking from the arms. Fully sick.

At one awkward point when most of the them were in the attic on the restaurant, I thought that Reina was poking Makina's breast. Woah.

And those Chaos bridge bunnies can certainly put away the beer.

Wondering about Messer's pre combat ritual. What's he holding if he is holding anything at all?

Seems to be a lot of protocol tureen artefacts in the areas where Windemere is operating.

  3. I suspect there are some things at the top which are not revealed yet, like what was discussed at the restaurant between Arad and Kaname.

I don't think that the GG subs were entirely accurate, but at the end of the Episodes when the Coat of Arms were revealed on the SV-262s, isn't the more accurate translation for Arad's line: "As I thought, its the Aerial Knights" rather than just "It's the Aerial Knights", meaning that he's done some research and had his suspicions before this second engagement?

  4. This is getting better and better.

    - I've always wanted them to further delve deeper into Protoculture

    - Concerned with a couple of characters and what future eps have in store for them 1. Freya's Origin and predicted lifespan, 2. Messer's supposed susceptibility to Var Syndrome

    - Ernest Johnson is awesome. Guy knows how to dress, on business and in casual settings. As someone said before, its pimpin'. I'm hoping we'll see some ship battles to let him show his skill.

    - Talk about putting the pressure on Freya from Mikumo. Don't think that she doesn't like the girl, just coming from the tough love perspective.

    - Roid has his own agenda for sure.

    - The poor average Windemeran lifespan could be what spurred them to go for a power grab to find a way to prolong it.

  5. I thought what Messer did was totally necessary. No rookie should get ahead of themselves, not even after such a win. Hayate needed to be taken down a notch or 2. Hayate is spoilt and arrogant. He needed to realise he can't always do things his own way. Messer is the Sergeant Major (or equivalent) of the squadron

Agreed totally. He needs to understand the reality of the situation.

Some people are worried that Chuck is going to get offed later on, I'm worried it will be Messer when he goes on a final major mano e mano. Always a tragedy somewhere in the series. I sense from Ep 1 and then the OP something is going to happen.

  6. This really disappoints me. I took a bit of a break to horde up a load of cash to complete my collection but now that is all for nought. I only have a few of the v2 1/60s. My 1/48 collection is huge, it was a bit of a slap in the face for me when they released the 1/60 line again, as I thought I had the perfect valk. Haven't even gotten a VF-1S Focker or Hikaru and was lucky to pick up an Elintseeker at normal price. Currently in Japan and it is a disappointment for me. Not many valks left at all except for the Bandai breakables.

I agree with Uxi. I hope that they get the molds and start cranking them out again. Prices before the sale were ok, not brilliant, but something that we could cope with. I just hope I can finish my VF-17D and FAST Packs collection before they run out.

  7. Ok so these new 2011 chips have me interested. I was about to go out and buy the 1155 stuff, but now I'm at a crossroads.

I don't need the most expensive of the two new Intel processors if it came down to it, but both of these board feature the Intel chipset for SATA 3, which I need for max performance of my SSD. Would it be better to use the 2011 motherboards as in future they will truly allow longevity due to the ability to upgrade to CPUs with more cores and also more RAM in future? I really wanted to get a Rampage IV Extreme motherboard. If this will help me buy less in future I would like to go this route. Or should I get the 1155 stuff while it's cheap?

  8. CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52500K

HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

I should receive my parts Tuesday/Wednesday. I'll update when it's running.

Just make sure that the motherboard has Intel SATA 3 controllers for your SSD, otherwise it will run like crap. If it is a Marvell controller don't even bother. I learnt that the hard way.

  9. Something bugging more about Battroid than Fighter (or Gerwalk, who's legs are usually back lack that in the anime). Might be the collar, but something about the shoulders doesn't look right.

The Battroid has huge shoulders and doesn't look like he has the body to back it up. I think thats what you initially saw. I think it's alright.

I know, but I want it to look like this:

a nose closer to the profile art and everything else the same would look so much better in my eyes.

I quite like the Yamato's version. The lineart that you posted up looks a little strange.

  10. Checking your motherboard's specs indicate: DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066

You may want to check your BIOS settings again to be sure it is properly clocking the RAM if it's only running at 1333.

Thanks, I went into the BIOS and checked it out, and it is only running at 1333 MHz. What i did then was force it to work at 1866 MHz, but I kept the voltage the same. I may have to research to see if that has any long term ramifications. Seems fine, so far.

  11. Check your motherboard and BIOS settings. A computer is only as fast as its slowest parts. If the frontside bus speed on the motherboard is 1333, then that's the speed limit for the RAM. Your BIOS may have settings to change it, or you may have to overclock it.

Hmnmm. Thanks. According to the specs, it should run at that speed. I'll try it tonight when I get home.

Just wondering though, with the current SSD I am starting to have some problems with the speed of the drive.

CPU: Intel CPU Core i7 975 Extreme Edition

    Cooler: Noctua DH-14

RAM: Corsair Dominator DDR3 Triple Channel 6GB 1866 MHz

    Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D-E

    Graphics Card: XFX HD6990

    Network Adapter: ASUS PCE-N13

Hard Drive: OCZ Agility 3 120 GB

Hard Drive: Seagate Momentus XT 500 GB

    Hard Drive: Seagate 1000 GB 7200 RPM x 2

Optical Drive/s: LG BluRay Writer, Pioneer DVD Writer

    Power Supply: Silverstone 1000W

Software: Microsoft Windows 7 pro 64bit

I setup and installed the OCZ Agility as my boot up drive and it still seems to be sluggish. I timed the whole startup process and it took the computer 1 min and 12 secs to bootup completely. I would have thought it would have done much better than that. In fact, the OCZ Vertex 2 on my ASUS G73 boots up faster in 23 secs flat, and the Vertex 2 is a SATA 3.0 Gps connection. I thought that with the Agility and SATA 6.0 Gps would have been way faster. I've made sure that in the BIOS that ACHI is on and also went into the registry to make sure that it is also enabled by setting the particular values to 0. Also I went into msconfig and took delay down to 3 secs. Is there anything else I should do?
