promethuem5, thx I have only been on the forum for 2 days and collecting Valks for less than a mounth. SRY yes I know I'm a noob, hell I really got in trouble, and schooled on the Macross vs robo#$#) thing last night. Maybe with in a week I'm wont be so bad lol

thanks all. I have mine an armourment lay out display so gunpod is not on fighter. Has anyone ever recast just the handle of gunpod to lock arms together?

After bidding on it thinking it was a 1/48, (got my 1/48 Roy in, noticed diffrences) I had asked him what size it was and he told me and ajusted the discription on ebay to better relay this. But that is not here nor there I won it and will just put it way and sell it in a few years, letting collectors value go up as a few more MIB are opened. Yes over the last few days I have become very acustome to the diffreces in their packaging. Not complaining or asking for sympahy just wonder if it was a good deal, their is a Buy it now for $75 + S&H. So atleast I was cheaper than that. No harm no foul, i just now have an investment.

I only speak of the Battletech (1984) before there was the question over their use of Macross Mecha (1982), I personally have not play it, at the time only due to an aversion to any games that uses leads (I can't paint) But now after the lawsuit threat, just can't do it. And with that prejudice firmly planted in my mind, all I can see them for; is their "borrowing" of licensed material. Maybe a fine game; it has lasted 20+ yrs and still going strong, enjoy I just can't stomach them, myself.

Ok I knew I was going to FUBAR at some time. So please for the challenged I know the difference between Robotech and the bastard Battletek, but exactly how does Macross differ from the lowly Robotech, please educate me.
I mean www.Robotech.com is a driving force in infomation and conventions, ect.

I may have just bought this by mistake thought I was bidding on a 1/48 but it's a 1/60 oops.

did not find missiles on the compendium, but did find them on
http://www.artemisgames.com/robotech/Missiles/Starburst.html
only problem is this allows for 16 missiles/pod but Macross 1/48 Super and Strike parts has 20 and slots for all 20, and even alloing for the 2 loaded and one reload from the arms each we still have 2 extras. please if anyone sees I'm wrong let me know. thx

Roy is my first 1/48, have a Rick on the way, but my question is: in figher mode do the arms always seem to be a lil loose and hang low, is that just how it is or is mine loose or is there a catch I'm missing or some thing? Also with the super kit they seem to even out

Again I am new to the collecting of these toys, but if you are looking for the missiles from the battle suits for a VF-1, I have both a 1/60 and a 1/48 enroute to me (ebay wins) if that is what you are looking for from which scale? I am of course assuming that the the 1/60 missles are removeable and seperate bits. Please hold the beating to a minimum, I'm fragile.

thanks, I was afraid of that about the cowling. As for this compendium is is digital or hardcopy?

I need a lil help with part of the: Macross 1/48 Super and Strike parts. The problem is removing the cowling, from the thruster; is there a trick to this I seemed to have to peel the one off and am afraid I'm going to bust some thing. (I do not read Japanese sadly enough)
Also what are the munitions designation for the 40 missile in those thruster pods?

Long time lover of Robotech, but new collector, in my mad hungery search on E-bay I bought a Exosquad Valkyrie Fighter by playmate, but it is missing two of its missles have 10 of 12. First off this is my first nite on here and first post so sry if I've mistakenly said any DIRTY words so far. I hate to open up with a request but here I am stuck. Well any help would be great thx. I added a picture of the missile cluster if that helps

Well I hope to get better soon, I just bought DYRL and bid in on all nine disks of MACROSS, Any thing else I should go for now or just wait watch what is comming then go after plus and II ect?
