Agreed, the golden era of anime. The video was done by Daicon film which would turn into Gainax, famous for Evangelion. They made the video with only 12 people and with limited resources and no copyright approval at the time , just pure passionate fans doing what they love.

The VF-1 is the best selling Valkyrie figure , it would be crazy not to ever set a story in the original era from a business standpoint. If not a sequel or a reboot, I hope for a story from characters who were behind the scenes , ala Rogue One. Macross Zero was similar but a story on the Macross during Space War 1 would be cooler. There must be a few other squadrons and destroids they could make the story about. Then have Roy Focker or Minmay make a cameo. The Old school UN spacy logo needs to be back , The NUNS or SMS logo is not iconic enough and doesn't scream MACROSS! -

There is a bit of surface scratch on the top of my VF-1S head. It's been buggin me, was thinking of using tamiya polishing compound to try and smoothen it out. Not sure if it's a good idea or not. Anyone had any experience in fixing the scratches on the dx chogokin?
