There was some shenanigans at the HLJ page.  The Max vf-1a was showing as in stock, and you had the option to add it to cart, but then when you did it errored out and said it was order stop.  This continued for like 30 min.  Now it is just listed as discontinued.

I dunno whether they actually had some stock for sale at some point, or it was just a database error fighting with itself.  It seems more like that latter, but maybe a few lucky people scored a Max somehow.  I know I didn't :cray:

    That's one more option down.

Yeah i got one added to my cart on HLJ, but when i logged in it disappeared from my cart and when i tried adding again it came up with "out of stock" notification. So no luck :/
But i jumped on a Max from AnimeExport and paid for it, now it says its in "packing" status and i haven't gotten a email for the shipping cost. So i just hope there won't be an "sorry this item is now out of stock" refund bullshit :p

My purchase from Bandaionline took super long to show up also but it got here eventually.

Well, now almost a week after i placed my order, i just got a message from bandaionline that my order was cancelled and refunded. The reason given was that the package was damaged in transit and returned to them. Soooo i'm out on the hunt again for a DX VF-1J <_<

I think i'm gonna go for one at nin-nin-game.com
Anyone have bad experience from them? Are they legit?

-Only the DX line currently has something I might consider a "factory seal."

Could someone provide a photo or description of that seal, since I ordered a DX that is supposed to be unopened and I would like to be able to verify.

Always wait 48 hours before you panic. Also when you mentioned vendor, are we talking about a legit Japanese store or proxy or just some random Japanese you bought it off from them directly (via ebay, yja, etc.)?

My usual experience with items coming from legit Japanese shop, the tracking will always work 48 hours after. And sometimes on the 72th hour, the item is already in transit.

Also, don't rely just on JapanPost tracking service, have it also check it on your USPS tracking service. Sometimes the number will pop up between these two for info that is not showing on the other.

Give it a while. Hope that helps. ;)

I was ordering from bandaionline.com (Kurama shop). Tracking number looks like this: ENxxxxxxxxxJP
Package is EMS. 38hours now and still nothing at japanpost tracking. But i will wait patiently :)

I was in the same situation with an online retailer from eBay. I gave it 48 hours and then I reached out to some fellow Macross worlders for their input. As I trust a lot of the members here to give very candid forthright information and insight. My suspicions were confirmed and I have since received a refund on that fraudulent purchase. But, give it 48 hours

Normally it appears as a legit number with a statement that it's in collection but I would give it 48 hours before I panic unless the number looks totally fake.

Ok. I will give it 48 Hours.  Thank you very much for your input guys!
    The number itself looks legit.

  6. Anyone here know how long it takes for a shipment to appear on the carriers tracking site?

Ordered something that was "shipped" 18 hours ago from the vendor with Japan post EMS.

But on japanpost website if i do track on the number it just comes up with number not found.

Too early to panic? Does it usually take more than 24Hours to appear in the carriers system?

if Bandai get around to releasing the 1D, and also implement the removable front fuselage, I imagine they'll do it similar to how Yamato did it, since T-Rex are also the designers of the DX VF-1 series (just like they were for Yamato's VF-1 series - which is why there are so many similarities between the 2).

Yamato used an adapter that connected to the removed fuselage, which then allowed it to attach the arm in the same way the FAST Pack arm armor is attached.

Was just looking at it here: https://hlj.com/1-60-scale-vf-1d-ymt00104
Elegant solution from Yamato, hope that Bandai will copy it (if we get a VF-1D)

No worries. And no Super Arm Part needed too. ;)

Ah yes, i meant that if it could be attached to same part on the hand that you would attach a super part. So no super part needed, just use the same pegs as they would.

  9. Who else here wishes that Bandai will come out with a DX Hikaru VF-1A with a detachable cockpit/nose that you could attach to the arm Super parts pegs on another DX.
Also would be nice to have a detachable left arm on it.
    Bandai make it happen!

Which Valkyrie figure we're talking about here? If it's Yamato or Arcadia, then I'm pretty sure that it's fine since the sets also include stickers sheets for added details.

Ok, thanks for the reply! Yamato and HMR's. I display them out of sunlight so yeah it will probably be ok

  11. Well, i snagged the super set on bandaionline for 92 bucks, pre-ordered the VF-1S on ebay for 320 bucks and i am planning to get the VF-1J for whatever price it will go for.
This line-up is going to be expensive. Hope they come out with a VF-1D aswell, but i will stop there with 3 figures and two super-sets.
