That red 17 looks cool! But did it ever make an appearance in the anime? M7 is rapidly fading from my memory..

Yup, she took a VF-17S and repainted it in the series when City-7 is separated from Battle-7.

Also lots of great pictures making me want a 17S in my collection in the future!

Everyone has been helpful but I'll try to give a timeline to explain what is going on here.

Yamato YF-19 - Plus version, Double Nuts, Bird of Prey. - It's all a very bad mold. Avoid.

Yamato VF-19 - Basara, S, F, P varieties. - You're already familiar with the quality.

Arcadia VF/YF-19 - Yamato went under and Arcadia bought the mold for Yamato's VF-19 series. They've released the Basara again but with Gold trim instead of yellow and then made a new YF-19 Plus Version based on that VF-19 mold. The new YF-19 was designed so that the Fold Booster made for the old, terrible, Yamato YF-19 mold will work on the Arcadia YF-19 as well.

I would personally buy the VF-19P, which is similar to the Basara VF-19, over any of the Yamato YF-19 versions.

New to the boards and looking to grow my collection! I'll update the list as I figure out what I'm looking for and also when I obtain what I'm looking for!

- Yamato 1/60 YF-21

- Yamato 1/60 VF-22S Max and/or Miria

- Arcadia 1/60 VF-0D

Since I'm still new, I'm unfortunately not on the straight shooters list. Hope to make it there one day!

Hi all! Long time Macross fan (and of course it all started as a kid with Robotech). I've recently decided to slow down on the Transformers toys and move on to the Macross figures as they are sorely lacking in my collection!
