I only have a few things to say: 1) I'm 35 and love anime, though I sometimes watch actual "kiddy" cartoons with my daughter and enjoy them as well. 2) Even in "children's" shows like Spongebob, many of the humor and pop-culture references are aimed at the adults (I've caught references to Pink Floyd and Talking Heads in some Cartoon Network shows). 3) 22,000 people of all ages attended Otakon this year in Baltimore. They had to cap it there because the number has grown steadily each year. 'Nuff said.

Let's stuff it with firecrackers and give it a Viking type burial--ack! I'm no expert modeler (remember when I tried to make my decepticons' eyes red with a paint marker?), but jeez, give me a break, how can you put that junk up for sale? Sorry about the double post, I intended to reply to mechamaniac originally. I hope it makes more sense now.

Just want to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone who helped make this con happen, as well as to mechamaniac for dragging my ass along on this adventure. And a special thanks to Nick and EXO, for driving us around, and to everybody for making a coupla guys from Maryland feel welcome! Nice job with the screen names on the group shot, notice how I'm barely taller than Mari (just wish I was as thin as her, too! Well, maybe not that thin...). For those of you that missed it, I'm the lurker in the red Inuyasha t-shirt in many of the photos, who endured the 3000 mile trek from Baltimore just to meet Mari and hang out with some of the rest of MW! Hope to see you guys again next year; in the meantime I plan to be more active on this board, though I may change my screen name (again).
