If any of you are interested in the differences between the Japanese and US versions of the 1st and 2nd seasons of Yamato/Star Blazers, you should select in the left column: The Star Blazers You Didn't See, by Walter Amos at http://www.desslok.com/ I was somewhat surprised at the edits, more having to do with being a kid at the time and not knowing about the removed/edited parts. If any of you are interested in the original Aliens vs. Predators series by Dark Horse, they recently released a compilation that includes the original and a few other stories in: Aliens vs. Predator Omnibus for $24.95 Way better than the the movie. Before, they only had a limited run that cost fairly major $$$. They also released Aliens Omnibus as well. The only annoying thing (for me at least) is that the original Dark Horse Aliens comics used the characters Hicks and Newt, but because of what Fox did in Aliens 3, they changed the names in the compilation... You can also get them a bit cheaper on Amazon.com; that's where I bought them. A Predator Omnibus is coming out later, but I don't recall the Dark Horse Predator series being good or not.
