I've got a Yamato 1/60 v2.0 VE-1 Elint Seeker and a Bandai 1/60 DX RVF-25G Luca for sale. The Elint Seeker is mint, never been taken out of the bubble (the box got a little mangled on the way back from Japan so I had to open it up to make sure the precious inside was still mint... and it is! The RVF-15 Luca has been displayed on the stand but never transformed and is tight and mint.

I was recently in Japan and picked up at Yamato 1/60 v2 VE-1 Elint Seeker. Unfortunately, I spent too much while in Japan so I'm looking to sell. The box got a little beat up in my luggage but the figure and all the parts are still mint (never taken out of the bubble). I'm asking $230 plus actual shipping. Just shoot me a PM.

Ugh, this debate drives me nuts.

Does the scale really matter all that much? The 1/48 line of VF-1 is AMAZING. If you have them, then keep them. They're good toys. So the YF-19, VF-0, SV-51, YF-21 and so on are in 1/60 scale. Is it really so important to have your VF-1s and VF-0s in the same scale?

Either one's a good choice. To be honest I'm not sure which one I'd go with if I were in your shoes, they're both great!

So all this fuss is over the 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru? I was getting confused over DARKWIND's post saying it was really rare. Don't really see where he's getting that from since he can be found pretty easily on e-bay... hell, I got two of them last year and they're not all that expensive, pretty average for a 1/48. They don't seem all that rare to me.

Either that or I've COMPLETELY missed the point... which is something I haven't ruled out yet.

Its the VF-1 that Hikaru flew at the end of DYRL.

Got any pix? I'm just thinking of the VF-1S Hikaru that Yamato released. How is this particular toy different?

So what's this "red stripe" VF-1S all about?

I got some Takatoys stickers and the instructions say to use isopropilic alcohol to clean the valk's surface. Now, I'm no chemist so I just want to make sure. Is isopropyl rubbing alcohol what I'm looking for? I went to the drug store and picked up a bottle. Just wanted to confirm that isopropilic and isopropyl are the same thing or not. Can anyone help me out?

I pre-ordered the Yamato 1/60 VF-0A Shin w/ghost booster and I still haven't received an e-mail, even though they hit the street not too long ago and I saw that some other people have received e-mails from them. Should I be worried?

I was waiting for some to spot that! We sent HLJ some stands last month to test the international market. It is cheaper to buy from us if you are in the US (www.LAFtoys.com), but for all you long distance international fans who buy model kits or yamato toys on a regular basis from HLJ, it will be cheaper to order from them.

Yeah, I bought a bunch from you in the fall. They're pretty good, although I stripped one of the sockets. But still, assembling 12 out of 13 correctly isn't too bad.

the body doesn't have to be airtight for space, only the cabin/cockpit. And vacuum safe and made safe for submerging is very different. Circuits and gears can be exposed in vacuum but would short and die in water. for that zero to work submerged, it had to be designed to work in that environment.

I also believe I saw the intakes close when in Macross Zero when Shin takes the VF-0D under water.
