Believe it or not, but the laser on the PStwo is actually supposed to be LESS reliable than the older ones, even with all their "Disc Read Error"s. Mod-chips are supposed to aggravate the problem. One seller actually sells pre-modded PStwo's, but instead of just soldering the mod-chip, they apparently modify the laser as well to try to make it more reliable.

I agree, it looks sort of like a seagull landing on a dock. Was this deliberate? Because, granted, it looks awesome, but it's also a little more "alive" than I'd expect--some motion there looks more "idiosyncratic" than "necessary", like Elvis shrugging his shoulders.

picked up this kit a few days ago as a late b-day gift for myself. Anywho, its a weird (in my eyes) kit; most plastic kits i've seen (ok pretty much Gundams) all have plugs & sockets. This kit doesnt have any o.O

anyone have any build up tips for this kit?
