Be sure to tweak the screensize and controls by hitting home. It plays better with the nub than the d-pad. Honestly.. I'm having more fun playing Symphony of the Night than VFX2 ^^;

I need to get around to throwing the DYRL game on it... I'm sure it will play fine.

Let's see.. what emulated Macross games do we have on the PSP:

Macross 2036 (Plays fine, the emu has some sync issues with the MP3 audio)

Macross Eternal Love Song (haven't tested but I'm sure it plays)

Wonderswan Macross (haven't tested but it is likely that the Wonderswan emu will play it.)

Now if someone would make a decent MAME port to the PSP we'd be playing Super Space Fortress Macross, Macross 2 and Macross Plus arcade.

A few days ago a custom PSP firmware (3.02 OE-B) was released that allows you to play Playstation 1 games on the PSP. It uses the PS1 emulator Sony built into the 3.0x series of firmware.

You can find out more info about that firmware here. The site is a bit slow today. Be prepared to do a lot of reading to get caught up if you haven't been flowing the PSP homebrew scene.

Here are a few blurry pics of Macross VFX2 on the PSP.

VFX2 plays fine. So does Symphony of the Night. The PSP just got a massive injection of quality titles. It is unfortunate that Sony didn't excute well at all and will likely not profit much from the PS1 emulation.

I have a few Shin pics. Unfortunately most of them are from this very board. I'm uploading all my Macross Zero pics to here. It'll probably take awhile to complete the transfer as I'm on 56k. I have a few costumes in the works. The main one isn't Macross though but Mospeada!

One day I hope to remake my Isamu costume. The first attempt was too heavy and too hot.

There already has been a Cowboy Bebop game. It was for the Playstation.

I've heard from people who've played it that it wasn't very good.

Max isn't a traitor. All the Meltrandi surrendered to his genius good looks. So you see.. he's running the Meltrandi side of things at the end of DYRL from his Blue Quadluun Rau!

Am I talking about you specifically? No. At least your sig isn't a giant picture.

I strongly recommend posting some size guidlines on sigs. Already there are people with sigs that take up many lines of space. It's rediculous to have a sig that takes ten lines of space on a post that is only one line. I'm going to have some repetative stress injury scrolling through threads. Of course, I'm sure all the rules will come back once everything gets back on track.
