007-vf1 do you have any pics of your completed one? (or mostly completed one).

I've always thought of doing this to a 1/48 (just. ah... chopping one up makes me squint).... All you need is some blue LEDs and a little watch batter inserted into the fast packs (they should be easy enough to make this mod).

The Club-M YF-19 is insanely detailed and insanely nice... Nicest kit I have IMO. Compared to the Hase YF-19, it's got way more parts, better detail, metal parts, all kinds of extra's that the Hase does not have. Maybe the only thing that the M-Club needs is better decals? But you can always buy better decals here on MWorld anyways. I think the same opinions can apply for the Club-M YF-21 and VF-11B, but I don't have have those (or any Hase kits to compare too).

Also, M-Club is resin and Hase is plastic... so there are good/bad things to say for both resin and plastic. Also, you have to remember price... I paid way to much for my YF-19 Club-M, but once I seen the kit.... It was worth it compared to other overpriced kits.

When it comes down to it they have that special thing that we want and it ranks higher than 1/48 valks. LOL

Yeah, I know... I had to upscale them A LOT... Ran about 5 rotations of photoshop Despeckle and Sharpen on them to try and get them smoother and sharper without loosing detail. I think it was the best I could do without a lot of hand touch ups... If someone else can do better (which I'm SURE someone can), go for it, and then let me know

I just threw this together and did some photoshop touches... I just like the 2 pictures and needed something that would make a nice 1280x1024 desktop... These 2 fit together perfectly.

If someone made a model of you, and they forgot YOUR "pea shooter", you'd be pretty damn upset too

I just had a great experience with VF-19 Pilot!!! even though he is on this blacklist. It was for 4 1/60 yammies, and the transaction went perfect! If he can be removed from the blacklist, that would be very excellent!

I just purchased my first 1/48 Yamato, a Roy 1/48 VF-1S 2nd Ed w/ FP's. Lucky for me, it was Neova's LAST Roy 2nd Ed! Whoohoo, talk about good timing.

The VF-19A Yamato was the first Macross toy I ever bought too. Sweet.

Question about the 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru,

is it the "equivalent" of buying a 2nd Ed 1/48 with the fixed QC issues? Or does it suffer from the 1st Ed flaws.

Let me give ye some advice on getting chix to watch anime. IF you can get them to sit and watch, you need to try all different kinds of stuff on her. Not just the stuff you like, but try all different kinds that might seem interesting to her. IF you can get her to watch a bunch, and she suddenly finds one she likes... MISSION SUCCESSFUL. From then on she will appreciate it and prolly go out and try to find more that she likes Only gets better from there. You just gotta find one that she likes and it's sunny skies after that.

(I think this thread is starting to turn into our local "Group Thing", Bad Boys II comes to mind
