  1. So the bee is from speed racer? I don't remember seeing one (though it was a long time ago.) While we're on the subject of massive heads: http://sabrina.jp/HP20020804mariel/IMG_1801.JPG In fact, this whole site has a gallery of disturbing cosplay: http://sabrina.jp/g.htm I mean, they're full on suits so whoever's inside them must be quite thin. But it's the live webcam that scores points for for scaring the donkey's out of me!
  2. according to this article they've been going on for a few years now: http://mdn.mainichi.co.jp/waiwai/0406/0625geek.html Went to the Cure Maid Cafe (with F-Zero One,) and the food there is actually quite cheap and a good place to eat if you're on a budget.
  3. There must be a few racering fans on the forum, would you mind explaining this to me please as I'm totally lost! http://www.lophouse.com/t-images/title20040410-01b.jpg
  4. The second of the two I've not been to but for an unbiased opinion on the Anise Seed Cafe, you can ask F-Zero One as he's been there.
  5. Ok, shameless plug here for my mate's cafe where another mate of mine works as one of the waitresses dressed in an unflattering but pretty maid uniform, Anise Seed Cafe: http://www.anise.tv BUT!... more importantly to this group is this other themed cafe I found: http://www.ro-bo-ta.com/top.html Which has me interested if only for the Panda Z models they have in the Museum link! If you click on Access to see how to get there, you'll see on frame 5 and 6 the robot waiting to greet you to their cafe
  6. She's honestly a lot nicer in real live and Skuld's teeth are manic if she smiles (apologies for being rude.) Apparently they're actresses but I lost contact before I could get any titles of what they've been in.
  7. Relatively difficult when you didn't expect to be cosplaying at all Oh, don't you wish, Mappy? I'm not absolutely certain, but I think I may have actually taken that picture - I'm not sure because there were so many photos of Mappy in the company of attractive Japanese females, I just wish he wouldn't shove me out the way so fast... (nah, just kidding! ) Mappy wasn't cos-playing, it was just a photo-opportunity. That picture doesn't really do the girls justice - much nicer looking in real life, honestly, and - as far as I could tell through my slightly biased translator, nice ladies too...! (okay, am I done playing the gallant Englishman now? ) I think is was you taking the photo actually and they were very charming ladies (though Belldandy and Skuld needed braces badly.)
  8. Relatively difficult when you didn't expect to be cosplaying at all
  9. Sorry, can't find the pic of them on their own.
  10. That AcGuy - was that at Wonderfest 2003, Winter? I met that "him" too. And an awesome Big "O" too. And the girls. So many pretty girls... If you weren't so shy we would have met a lot more You and your bloody mecha pilot shyness!
  11. That robot won an award at the 2004 Anime Expo didn't it? And when he got his award the silly b^rd took his time getting off the stage
  12. meow geez I wonder how old she is does not look over 18 I know she doesn't look it but I'm fairly sure she's a bit older than 18 and she's a model or aspiring to be one, her webpage is here: http://page.freett.com/AlisaK/ Mata na, Mappy Nyo nyo nyo

  17. Taken from this cafe which I highly recommend. Anise Seed Cafe
  18. Don't know where I found this one ages ago but what is that she's carrying?
  19. Don't take that tone of voice with me! You wouldn't know one furry from the next hence, I wouldn't know one giant robot series from the next... Except Big O and Mazinkaiza which I'm forced to watch every Thursday with an anime group I'm with. And as for Jcat's ridiculous obcession with photography, I'm not actually sure he's taken any photos of anything other than cosplayers!... Ended up marrying one of them in fact!... But he likes his cameras an awful lot (while I was there I witnessed him buy a digital stills camera that was the same price as the hardcore digital video camera I bought on the same day.) I met his wife in March for the first time and I was ever so slightly jealous that I nearly slapped him! In fact I'll see if there's one of her on the net somewhere (but getting her name and kanji will take time so please be patient.)
  20. This is my mate's website, Jcat, who's a top photographer and a very nice bloke. Helped me get a very nice digital camera from some dark shop in the back streets of Akihabara. The lazy bastard has a lot more photos but has taken nearly 2 years updating his website but has a few rather pretty photos to see here: http://www.cnet-ta.ne.jp/n/night/cos/top-fset.html
  21. From Gundam Seed Her website is http://page.freett.com/AlisaK/
  22. Since I've already put this girl's URL up, I'll stop posting her.
  23. Quite a few more photos can be found on her website: http://drabbit.fem.jp/
