Item sold!
-
Saw this the other day. Wasn't bad but wasn't great either. They've definitely left it open for a sequel. Kinda hope they do it but not a big deal if they don't..

I would grab one for sure !
Sure thing, if you wanna send me a PM we'll discuss further.
I think I'll only make a couple with what materials I have rather than trying to mass produce them.
$10 USD shipped each will cover them.

I could make them in several different colors but black is harder to find..

I made a new gun strap! Though this is only a prototype. Will need some refinements such as smaller rings. Initially wasn't sure about using the red colour strap but I think it suits Hikaru's Valkyrie nicely the more I look at it.
If this gets enough positive vibes I might just start making more of them to sell.. what are you guys thoughts?

YF-19F/S courtesy of @spanner, the Gunbarrel Striker from a proxy, and the books from Amazon. A suprising number of packages in a single day.

I also recently bought a Tamiya RC car and its really good to have one again. After about 25 years out of the hobby I think I'd like to get back into it.. but to a more limited degree as it can also be very expensive.

No firevalk ?
Nup! It's been gone for a while now. But at least I still have a Valkyrie with Basara sitting inside and he's holding a guitar! LOL!

Indeed! Very minimalist. Feels so bare.. but eventually more will come. Again..

More birds will come.. in the form of DX VF-1's!

With the new DX versions on the horizon, I am quite confident that you will refill all those gaps very soon.
I am not sure how I would feel about selling off a large chunk of my collection as you have done.
I am looking forward to more DX coming but for now I'm quite content with what I have.
Looking at the empty cabinets after I packed them all up did kinda give me a sinking feeling but I did enjoy having them and all the others before them so as they say it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all..

Yeah I must admit I do rather like the clean and tidy look. For a while then when my collection was a lot larger it did start to look messy and cluttered and as soon as I started trimming things down it looked a lot better.
My misses wasn't ever fussed about my stuff, she's more concerned about me regretting my decision later on. I do feel fine about it all.

Thanks Mike! Yeah pretty happy with the result. I hope all those who purchased items will be happy with their new toys!
Would also like to mention that everyone's items are all packed and ready to be shipped out tomorrow! I will message you all the tracking numbers once they are on their way.
Thanks again for all the support guys!

Three hours and still up!? For anybody considering it, @spanner is a really good seller, items are shipped really carefully and communication is optimum. Happy owner of a VF-0S and VF-0D from him
Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks guys, I'll still have my three DX VF-1J, the DX YF-19 and the Yamato VF-19P to enjoy. And I'll certainly pickup what ever Bandai releases next in their 1:48 DX line which will become my new focus for Macross. The 1:60's have been great but the new 1:48 are amazing! Definitely good enough to replace my old collection.
Things have definitely changed for me in the last 12 months, been kidna f#$&ed over by work as they have closed our workshop and scattered us around multiple locations and where they put me is 3 times further to drive and don't allow any overtime anymore. I'm lucky if I get 1-3 hours a week max to help out doing repair estimates which I mostly do in my own time and they still argue about it. I'm just waiting for my medical clearance to come so I can get my heavy vehicle licence back which will arrive just about the same time as my next long service block is due and then I'll move on. Plus the misses and I are moving house in the next few months so that will be another expense I need to put towards..
