I'm a sucker for the classics, but I love resto-mods. So I have to go with the DYRL VF-1S.

Also, since I haven't seen any other Macross'es that's all I need!

I'm a long time Macross fan, and first time poster! Well second post...

Like most I started with Robotech(as far as Macross is concerned - Already a Speed Racer/Kimba/Star Blazers fan), and knew someone who had a LD player, a Beta deck, and a VHS deck. He hooked us up with DYRL and a couple of episodes.

I've seen bits of Macross shows after SDF, and never quite cared for it enough to stay with it. But all this excitement about the DYRL BD has brought me to the treasure trove of information here.

I use Plex so I don't need to remaster a BD with any BD mastering tools, so I looked and found some .ass subs online for the BD, and then went through them and improved them, where I thought they could use it, with Hurin's subs but keeping the BD based time codes.

The non-wide subs are for 4 by 3 displays. They will have more multi-line subs, and therefore have more lines in the file than the wide subs.
