  1. The Canaan series was quite good too! maybe you should check it out! :) I might buy an Alphard to go with Canaan also..

Same here, I cant resist a pretty anime girl! Especially yielding a deadly weapon! but some of my other girls don't have weapons and they are still lovely!

Im picking up a Asada Shino (Sinon) figure from Sword Art Online2 and she looks totally bad ass too! B))

I've seen Canaan. It was pretty good alright.

Alphard is pretty expensive these days from what ice seen.

I'm going to buy a Sinon figure too, but haven't decided which one yet. The Kotobukiya one doesn't have the greatest pose and a few people have complained about the finish.

The Aquamarine one looks pretty good and the Pratead (never heard of them before) looks promising. Decisions decisions!

  2. I know it's been said before, but for God's sake Arcadia, you need to start milking moulds (a la Bandai)

If Wonderfest 2016 doesn't have a VF-0D in the VF-31esque scheme above, you're missing a trick and will follow in the illustrious steps of your predecessors Yamato.
I'm still on the fence with the -0D and this has muddied the waters further.
There better be a Roy -0S in the pipeline too.

    Edit - Ok so there is a -0S - don't mind me

  3. Get some stands!

I've got a few flightpose stands. Only just got my first detolf (and convinced my wife to let me have it in a living area of the house!)

I know it's inevitable that your stands will make an appearance in there, but still figuring out which Valks go where and which adapters

    I'm gonna need etc

  4. Makes me want to retrieve my Jetfire from my Dad's garage! Unfortunately the super parts are toast (my old dog saw to that)

I can see some Yetistand in my future. Just ordered some acrylic display stands to elevate some of my flightpose but it's not

a particularly elegant solution. Those formation -19's above are spectacular as is derex's panel lined 4G.

  5. I prefer the Ozma to Isamu 29 aswell but current logic suggests funds should be diverted to armour up Skull leaders regular ride.
I am going to have 2 x Isamu -19's come May. I reckon I'll put the Arcadia into Battroid and leave the Bandai Advance in fighter.

Subject to change of course (I do love the promo pics of the Advance in Gerwalk but it's likely to take up a whole shelf in detolf

    all by itself!)

  6. Thanks guys.

I don't know how I managed it but I'm guessing when I "broke its back" the first time I rotated the cockpit section the wrong way

(if that's possible) and as a result, the leading edge extension housing the hinge, was stuck on the wrong side and was stopping the nose section

    from moving through.

I was definitely going at it the wrong way - I couldn't reverse transform from were I'd managed to get to but eventually found a remedy by unscrewing

the the hips and removing the legs, swinging the cockpit back to the correct side and now I've got the nose, shoulders and chest plate all correctly orientated.

What a faff. I still don't understand how I did it.

In the meantime I transformed both Alto and Ozma according to the guides on Youtube (thank you jenius) and had no such issues.

Anyway, he's taken up residence beside Skull Leader for now. Might add the super parts later (now that they have a chance of fitting!)

  7. Ok I need help now!

I've watched so many transformation videos now and I still can't get it right.

I can't get the nose cone to come far enough forwards it seems. (Pic1)

It won't go any further than the hinge at the front of the neck piece (pic2)

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

    Pic3 just for further illustration.

Plus I can't get it back to fighter now either. I've lost it.

  8. it just wouldn't be a Valkyrie if you didn't have to experience this!:p

    The joys of ownership indeed.

I've been searching through this thread and watching videos on YouTube all night because I can't quite get the chest area right.

The nose cone seems to end up way too far back and I can't figure out why.

Then I tried to go back to fighter mode and I can't now!!

    I've got transformation blindness.

    Time for bed.

  9. So I finally got my hands on a Detolf which is to be dedicated to my Valkyries. :)

This has precipitated the removal from the box of my VF-25G (only the second but probably the last time)

Now I grant you I have limited experience transforming these things,

but holy crap the hips were tight as a tight thing!! :o

the left shoulder is floppy as a floppy thing

and could I get the head to slide back and out?!?!?

Took me about an hour to get it into batdroid without breaking anything.

I'm taking a break there and I'll add the super parts later - if I can manage it.

I might also take some pictures - maybe.
