Wow, there is some great, and credible spoiler info out there. I have a super duper one here (and I've seen the set pictures), read at your own risk:

They find Earth in episode 10, two-parter that carriers over to 11 (this is what is assumed). Its what would be our 22nd century, and Earth is a post-apocalyptic wasteland. It sounds like from then on out its like the post Space War I SDF Macross. Finding Earth, clearly, is not the end of the story. And it seems like things will only get darker.

"Kara will find her own body in a crashed ship. She'll then plant some fake dogtags and burn it all. Leoben is also supposedly with her when she "finds herself." Tigh also supposedly is "in the water screaming for Ellen" and Tyrol flashes back to a past life."

I'm getting the feeling, from what I've read, that Kara was the "harbinger of death" for the humans on Earth, not for the fleet.

If all of that really happens, and I hope it does. Then I just hope that Moore has an explanation as to why. I don't want the series to end with un-answered questions.

I wont quit buying toys, but I am already getting much more picky on what I will and won't buy... and to be quite honest much of the new stuff coming out is un-impressive IMO. I'm already very close to swearing off 25th G.I. Joes, Yamato's new 1/60 look great, but at nearly the price of a 1/48 it's hard to justify myself buying one.

Also the value of the dollar has not dropped that dramatically... it has only fallen about 10% over the last year, while the price of oil has soared by over 60%. So to blame the cost of gas/oil, on a "weak" dollar is inacurate. The one thing I don't understand is that there is not a shortage of oil or gasoline. When was the last time you could not fill up your car/truck at the local filling station. When was the last time the government was rationing out "gasoline cards". Most of us weren't even born the last time that happened in the 70's. Despite natural disators and civil unrest in oil producing/refining countries, the oil supply has never been in as much danger as many believe. About 25% of the current cost of oil/gas can be attributed to speculators.

But none of the seven knew who the final five were. There is no way any of them would have known Adama was a Cylon.

Maybe, but then the "6" on Galactica shouldn't know that the final 5 are "near" either. Sharon/Athena hasn't said anything about the other 5 being near. It would seem that some of the 7 can see things that others of them can't. If the Significant 7 don't know who the others are, then why would "6" be trying not to think of them.

Seems like the Cylons do have the capability to alter their own programming, Sharon/Athena, Caprica 6, D'anna and go outside the bounds of what they were originally programmed for... why not Leoban too?

Well if it's not Rosalyn as suggested by the "Last Supper" picture. I'm now leaning heavily towards Tom Zarek as the final Cylon... and I'm still very much convinced that Leoban's "Adama is a cylon" is important. Richard Hatch did play Apollo in the orginal BSG... maybe I'm grasping at straws there, but still it's the "truth mixed in with a lie". And Zarek was/is much more important to the BSG story than Tory was/is and she was outted as a Cylon.

One other thing, I think the Galactica Fleet is the 13th tribe.

I say it's Rosalyn. I just think about S1 when Leoben said "Adama is a cylon", the Bill Adama says thay Leoben mixes lies with truths. Well it seems like the Admiral and Pres are getting cozy, what if they get married? Makes Leoben's lie from S1 the truth then. IMO having the Admiral or Apollo a cylon is pointless.

Or and here is my way outta left field idea... Humanity itself is the final cylon.

I really didn't like that they made Tigh, Tyrol, Tori and Anders cylons. It seemed to me to go against everything else the characters had done in the series. I know the final 5 cylons are fundamentaly different from the other 7 of 12 cyclons... but still. I'm waiting until the series is completely wrapped up before I pass judgement though.

But I keep thinking about "This has happened before and it will happen again". I think that the Galactica and fleet are the 13th Tribe of Kobol that fled to Earth. I'll be curious as to what happens when they get to earth though.

I didn't even see him until he stepped into the frame as he was standing behind someone else. Also note that I am far from the closest spectator to the plane. (Since I'm taking the pic) And I only have like a 2x zoom on that camera, I'm sure there was a guy 50 feet behind me getting better pics with his 20x zoom.

No offense to anyone here who may be Security Forces, MP, SP, etc. etc. but the military cops I deal with on a daily basis aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer. They usually take things way overboard, it looks like that my be the case with that guy.

On the subject of a Top Gun sequel. The reason one was never made according to some DVD extras on the Top Gun S.E. is that all the air-to-air footage that was usable, was used in the first movie. From what the interview said is that Paramount wanted to make a sequal with whatever air-to-air footage wasn't used in the first one, and when they found out that it was all used, the execs decided it would be too expensive to pay to rent out Tomcats for a Top Gun 2.

Nah... FOX=kiss of death to anything but reality TV for the most part.

O.K. really stupid noobie question here. Which Macross DVDs should I buy, if I want the original Japanese Macross series dubbed in english, or at least have the option of Japanese or English being spoken. It's not that I'm opposed to subtitles, but I find myself reading the subtitles more than watching the movie/show, if it's not dubbed. Thanks.

Well I ending up selling all my Bandai re-issues over a year ago. But my son keeps bugging me about getting him a Jetfire for Christmas, but I don't want to spend $75-$100 on a toy he'll probably break. So if anyone can help I'm looking to get him a re-issue Bandai VF-1J since it's pretty close to Jetfire's color scheme (at least for my son). I'm only looking to spend around $30 give or take a little. I'd like it to still have the packaging (so he feels like he's opening something new). Doesn't matter if it has the stickers or not, but it does need to be complete. Any help is appreciated.

Reprolabels is well worth the price. They are actually of better quality than anything the Hasbro or Takara has put out.

Wow they kinda have em all. A bit pricey but they look like they have been made well.
