Me as well...
My thoughts and prayers are with all members, their family and friends and everyone else effected by this truly horrible and frightening event. May everyone be safe during the coming hours, days and weeks.

Good stuff tonight!!
Now we have to wait 3 WEEKS for Chewie?!?!?

IMHO, Commander Colt's (left) has a much better paint scheme and is looking sharp:

Well, this may help with the troop building:
Two white Clone Troopers along with one from the 501st and one from the 212th!

Great Ep, but whay all the poo-poo-ing? Were back to some good ol' SW action! In case anyone missed D. Filoni's comments about this 3-ep arc:
- "This arc is basically classic Star Wars; we focused on the things that I really remember loving about the Saga from when I was a kid. In the Mortis trilogy, George [Lucas] wanted us to explore some ground that's never really been covered in Star Wars before. And now with the Citadel arc, we're going back to some of those essential, classic conventions that have always made Star Wars so fun."
- "There are a lot of references packed into these episodes. Even the basic [prison] break-in idea parallels the Death Star rescue from Episode IV. It was really fun to do our version of that, but it's definitely not the only thing that will feel familiar -- though we've put our own spin on everything. This whole arc allowed us some fun opportunities to pay homage to the Star Wars that we all fell in love with when we, the older fans, were kids. Pretty much everyone on the crew is a fan, so it's been fun to revisit some of those classic elements in The Clone Wars."
- "Tarkin was tricky. We had to capture his essence, while also aging him down appropriately. Peter Cushing is such a distinguished actor, and Tarkin is such an iconic role. He fills the room with his presence and, aside from the Emperor, he's the only character who ever orders Vader around. So getting him right was very important to us, because his introduction to Anakin is an important one. And they've got a fun relationship that's been very interesting to explore."

Info about the Season Finale, so be warned!!
But it's Awesome!

Much like the prequel trilogy, a tweak or improvement here and there on these Force-wielder episodes could have really elevated the material so much more.
Not sure if you saw Mr. Filoni's Episode Commentary from last week's episode ( http://starwars.com/video/view/001221.html ), but I like how he explained these Mortis episodes as:
"...you have to think of it, like, these are three entire episodes that take place in the tree when Luke was on Dagobah."
Makes sense, now. Right?

Well, grabbed the Y-Wing today for only $20 because the boxed was damaged. Couldn't pass it up. Think I'll check to see if the ARC was still in the clearance aisle and grab that, too!!
In the meantime, while sick and out-of-work, I had some figure issues.....looks like I got to get my son more bad guys!

Just watched Blood: The Last Vampire and am now working on Blood+.
Good stuff.

I can take a look when I get out perusing. I don't even look at them, so I'll have to pay more attention.anyone see vintage aotc figures yet or rots commander gree?
Also....
New pic for the Republic Attack Ship and it's playset conversion, which I'm not sure how I feel about yet:
Someone translated the text as:
"Spaceship and Playset in one: Republic attack ship transforms in a jiffy in front orbital gliders into a ground station. With light and sound effects and an exclusive Speilgs"...which makes me think it may be an exclusive in the States, too.
On a side note: I've seen some 'clearance' CW Y-Wings and ARC-170s around, but would only get one. Leaning towards the Y-wing for my son....yeah, that's it....my son. Seems more meatier with less moving parts. Thoughts?

Just picked up Eeth Koth's sidekick - Captain Lock at a local K-Mart here on the East Coast, US.
Me like more Clones!!

I also apologize for this off-topic, but it must be shared for those who have not seen it:
Benny Hinn - Dark Lord of the Sith
Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Ep. 16 preview is up:
-
I rather see a few movies about the Old Republic. The 2 trailers for the game is awesome.
Seconded!

That's the beauty of this.
My wife and I were talking about the Clone Wars story arc, and whose to say this has to end at the point where Episode three beings?
It would be interesting to see the story move forward at that point. Maybe beyond episode three.
I think it would be great to get a series devoted to Darth Vader, or Rex and the 501st hunt down and destroy renegade Jedi Knights. The stories are endless.
I know Lucas was talking about doing a Live Action TV show about smugglers that took place between Episodes 3 and 4.
So, even if the Clone Wars ends at Episode three (which I hope it does not) we'll still get some Star Wars TV to fill our addiction!
Yes, the possibilities of going deeper into the tons of side-stories during an epic conflict "of this magnitude" is endless, indeed.
I'd also actually prefer the CW-animated style, if actually created, as opposed to a live action series. Just think a L-A series would come under too much criticism and expectations which may then cause the series to possibly falter. Guess you could use BSG as an example of how L-A could work, but I think we are all aware, the BSG universe IS NOT the SW universe.

They do......"from a certain point of view." Another awesome episode.
All I can say about this amazing series is: 30 minutes per week and 22 episodes per season is too short and how ever many seasons there will be will not be long enough.

1. Grievous kills the newly appointed Jedi Knight in his home
2. Cad Bane tortures one to death
3. Ima Guna Di (creative name) is killed on Ryloth buying time for the residents of that area to evacuate.
4-5. Savage Opress kills two taking the temple.
1. Nahdarr Vebb
2. Bolla Ropal
3. Ima-Gun Di (still creative)
4. Halsey
5. Knox
C'mon, man. Respect the dead.

Interesting. Never really thought of that. I guess I have Empire Strikes Back on my brain.
Maybe Rex turns out to be the bartender at the Cantina. "We don't serve their kind here."
NICE!
And because I've been home sick and have too much time, I was trying to somehow negate the robo-Maul talk. With a screen shot from CW ep 14 and a Maul pic, I was hoping to see that the markings and/or horns were different, but they don't appear to be!!!
-
I dunno, but maybe nothing will be 'tragic' at all.
Maybe Rex ends up leaving at some point, Cut Lawquane-style, when he sees how things are going. He IS the icon for Clone Wars, so it's possible they want his character to remain.
As far as Ahsoka is concerned, she could be exiled to a far-off world to be brought back into the picture at a later date. Ya think the marketing side of this, Ashley Eckstein's merch., will decide what happens? "Welcome to the site! Here is the merchandise from voice actor of CW's Ahsoka Tano, Anakin's padawan.....who was then brutally murdered by ....."
-
BTW, what you think of the Commandos! Freakin' awesome!
Great commentary on them:
-
Last night's episode was great, the duels were mostly amazing. I just hope that Darth Maul is in no way shape or form actually alive. Seriously, that will be worse than endless political episodes. At least in my opinion.
Agreed, but there's no way in hell that A) the CW team would actually think of bringing Maul back and B) that Lucas approves it.
....is there?
