Old_Nash, knowing you please don’t start a new thread for the next comic.  Just rename the thread to encompass this era of the franchise.  For instance, the “We Don’t Care Anymore Chronicles.”

    You mean Robotech Remix?

(Man, Why Tita don't start with this comic? The art are Much Better!)

Well, the latest issue of this abomination is out.  And well, yep old school Robotech tracery comics are back, and really badly too.  But there is one bright note.  The last page ended with the following words:  TO BE CONCLUDED

This horrid series is about come to an end.  Though it does give birth to the latest atrocity first.

Yep. I forget to put somepages today, beacuse my work.

But, don't worry, I post tomorrow XD

(And Yes, Why this crap still publiched?)

Note the "Just For Kids" branding.  <_<

Interesting.  Were the Spanish and Portuguese releases also missing 22 minutes of film?

I don't remember. I lost my vhs in somewhere in all these years...

Page from Animax magazine #2, in 1996, with vhs cover and some information

(I try to find vhs cover, but it1s out of catalogue and never receive a new release)

In Latin America the vast majority are Robotech fans, but the only fans who spent money on new merchandise like toys, figures or BluRays are Almost all of them Macross Fans. The Robotech fan is mostly fueled by nostalgia, they defend the memories of their childhood and don't care about the sh*t HG did in those 35 years. Maybe they are interesed in the movie, but nothing more. The Robotech Fandom is pretty dead.

(As always, sorry for my poor English -_-)

Agree. I first meet Robotech 1 month early of Macross (renamed here as Guerra das Galáxias - Galaxies War), in a tv channel.

I mean, both series in exibition in 2 diferents channels.

It don't mention Macross: DYRL, renamed here as Macross: A Batalha Final...

But, Robotech made more sucess than Macross, only because TV channel (Rede GLobo).

Out of morbid curiosity, I looked up Robotech: Breaking Point, an Academy Comics title in 1996...

Now I actually feel bad about making fun of the Titan Comics run.  :(

Copyright infringement and tracing could only have elevated such shockingly amateurish work.  I had no idea professionally-published comics could look like that... especially one inspired by Macross.

No wonder Harmony Gold pulled the plug!

    OMYGREATLUNA!!!

What someone can sell a trash like this??
