After watching the movie I really wanted to strap some Lil Draken boosters on the Siegfried and as a result, flies very strangely.

Its maneuverability has been bumped up, but as a result its stability near non existent. 

Incredibly twitchy with keyboard controls but the AI handles her with some scary precision, able to shoot down a flight of 2 Su-30SM's in a single pass.

Sooo the 31F's lil Draken set only comes with the lil Drakens right? 

If so, I guess I'll pass on those since I kinda accidentally bought two sets for my 262 a while back. 

I forgot I had it pre ordered on NY and bought another from Ebay, imagine the mark left on my forehead because of the major facepalm I did when the second one arrived.

I never even took it out of the box it was shipped in so i guess I now have an excuse to crack em open and use em for the 31F.

Meanwhile in other news, my VF-31A has been shipped but has been stuck at the FOREIGN CENTER JERSEY CITY NJ 099, which I assume is Customs, for almost a week now. 

Has this happened to anybody else before and how long does it usually take before it starts moving again?

Its only been a year since I preordered it, but its finally happening! Couldn't be more excited. 

Holy crap, some progress has been made! 

I guess politely annoying the customer service staff ever few months finally paid off.

Does any detailed or close up shots of Walkure's shuttle exist?

Im trying to recreate it or at least something that has the same general function as it in KSP and im trying to figure out its size relative to the Siegfrieds but I can't find a good pic.

Put together a new and improved VF-22 Sturmvogel 

and added a new VF-31A/F and YF-30 Chronos to the main gallery

Well damn, if the 262's were so damn powerful and the Windermerean people having super reflexes, why did so many of them get shot down like fodder in the movie.

I guess proper training goes a long way.

Do the Sv-262's have inertia dampeners? 

With the Windermereans being more naturally resistant to G-forces is it really needed? 

And if it didn't have one, 

Are the Grand Cannons still active even after all this time?

I feel tiny words get lost easily so I'd go with H since they're "highlighted" in a way. 

L is pretty good too.

I finally got a pretty beefy desktop and booted KSP up again after a long while. 

Heres an updated VF-31A Kairos and VF-31F Siegfried. A pretty large improvement over my last attempts at the 31 family.

I'm flying over from NY a few days early with a buddy of mine.

It's my first con and also my first time in the west coast so I wonder if anybody knows if theres sites or places that deserve a visit?

I was planning on visiting the home of the YF-23 which I hear is not too far from the convention center and maybe the USS Iowa.

I wonder how powerful those giant gatling guns are on the VF-31's armored pack.

With my luck I'll probably be one of the first civilian to die due to random beam shot through dome attack or crushed by falling debris if I was on board any of the main televised fleets. 

31C's super pack shipped from NY, still nothing on the 31A front. 

Maybe its time to cancel that preorder...

Zeak probably comes from the zero in VF-0, as back in WWII the old A6M Zero was given the nickname Zeke by allied forces.

I did accidentally buy two lil draken sets.  I was going to sell the other one eventually but I've almost forgotten about my second one until after the incident. It's still in its shipping  box and I don't know if I wanna crack it open. Just for a stand. 

Though with that thing from the delta movies maybe I should keep em for myself for when the release a version of Messer's 31F that can mount the Lil drakens.

Does bandai sell the Lil Draken stands separately cause one of mine suffered a pretty nasty accident involving a chihuahua and a labrador.

Anybody know what stand I can use for the VE-1?

Well it isn't that FSW's aren't un-aerodynamic in fact due to FSW's post stall characteristics it allows for a craft to retain higher controllability at extreme angle of attack making them very maneuverable at low speeds and more controllable at no speed which for a transforming Valkyrie that can stop and fall at will I feel is an ideal setup for them. 

One of the main reasons FSW's are never really used in fighter aircraft is due to there not being materials strong and cheap enough to resist the twisting forces inherent in a FSW. That and FSW's tend to be geared very heavily toward maneuverability and dogfighting that today's doctrine of BVR, stealth, and near inescapable missiles sorta makes them unneeded.

I wonder what the folks from Macross The Ride were doing during Frontier?
