Thanks mates. I'm loving the feel of this toy. I transform mine with care. Relishing every step. Yet, the usual issue with the hand swivel connections occurred. Nothing glue can't handle. No biggie.

Anyways. I just noticed, there were no plastic wraps for the tires on the copy that I got. Though the wing lights, wing tips, nose cone top part and bottom of the toy had plastic packaging material when I 1st took it out of the tray.

I thought there were qc or bq issues on the S that's why it was selling for less.

Wings are so thin. And those pointy edges. I stressed one already. Anyway, it's hardly noticeable.

Now I'm thinking of getting a yf-29 or a renewal vf-25.

Very tempting since I do not have Yamato's Nightmare yet. It looks so sharp and computer model accurate and modern and well planed out.

Goo thing I do not have this yet though being the TV ver. I'd still prefer the Ostrich. Maybe this is the one that I'll pick up so that I could re-cast the side panel and seats for my other valks. I love this design. It's iconic for myself because it was the 1st valk I saw in the show that actually transformed.

Wow. It really reminds me of my old DX Bandai. I think I'll be happy with this update. Too bad the back Pack does not seem to fold in like in the show for a more cartoon accurate look.

Yamato should step up and set up an actual department that really focuses on helping its international market get replacement for broken parts. I wouldn't mind if it would cost me more.

This is more reason to say pass on this toy, even the renewal version. I've been having bad luck with my yamies lately. Both my VF-11c and VF-22 are structurally damaged now. So far, only my 1/60 VF-1s are alright. My Takara Masterpiece seekers feel tougher than my yamies. Reading about stuff like this makes me lose confidence in the company. Bu then again, these are old designs.

I hope this comes out with the same shiny hard plastic as the Fire Valk.

I'd buy any new VF mold from Yamato. It comes once in a while so why not?

Not being able to have the ver. 1. I see myself being happy with the version 2. It's quite pointless for myself to purchase a ver. 1 when the option of getting something better would be present at the time that I can make the acquisition. The thought of a ver. 3 is something that does not come to mind at the moment.
