  1. Hey when you get your renewal version, can you leave a comment on quality?

Mine is missing one of the vernier thrusters and when I pulled out of the box there was a massive gap on the left side

where the body and the intake are supposed to come together and would not hold together properly and wants to pop

    apart.

I like the YF-21/VF-22S. If looking for something from the Zero line try the VF-0S re issue. I have the old issue VF-0A/VF-0S with ghost booster combos so I am not sure how the QC is on the new VF-0x's

Okay will do, can take a week or 2 as i used SAL shipping on this one.

    VF22S is probable or a VF-0S

Is the 1/60 Yf-19 really as bad as I read alot?

  2. Up till now I have been collecting yamato 1/48's VF-1's. I allready oredered a reissue packaging 1/48 VF-1S from HLJ last week.

Now I'm looking for a more exotic 1/60 yamato from macross plus or macross zero, which mold is the best quality wise?

  3. Exo any chance at some of your figures in a 1/48 scale?

I hope the strike pack gets rereleased soon, it's sold out everywhere! And i do not pay rediculous high prices on ebay for one!

Maybe they can release the stealth color version again, it looks way better then the normal one!

I'll have to email yamato i guess...

  4. I don't fall into those 3 cathegories any more, i used to be a buy oen-get one collector when i still collected transformers RID toys, but i now am almost TF free (sold most).

Now i tend to buy what i like and sometimes buy 2 if i really like the figure in it's packaging, i usually trow out the packaging of what i open if it's not durably reusable or cool looking. Japanse packaging is most of the time reussable(macross yamato's, or saint seiya myth cloths for example), so i keep those, but american toys are usually packed in what i call "throw away" packaging, so they are opened and the packaging directly dumped (for example gijoe 25th anni vehicules).

  5. well said, couldnt have agreed more

it was exactly the same scenario for me, from transformers to macross...

except it only happened to me at 2007 <_<

Same here, i did collect transformers some years back, then decided they just were never gonna be as detailled and big as i as a grownup fan wanted (with the exception for some masterpiece TFs), so i went to gundam PGs and macross valkyries to get some really nice looking stuff.

As for a recommendadtion, i like the yamato 1/48 VF-1A low vis 2 + armor, nice realistic paintjob

  6. hello,

I decided to get the alpha version for now, as it is a mass production verison with a realistic colorsceme that goes well with my other realistic colorsceme valkyries (VF-0A, VF1-J Stealth, VF-1A low viz version 2, etc..).

The pink version is also beautiful, but i got my finances to worry about.

  7. Hello,

After seeing that some people here have a gigantic collection of macross toys, i wonder how manny you guys actually own

I have (when everything arrives here):

    1/48 yamato VF-1J Hikaru

    1/48 yamato VF-1A angel birds

1/48 Yamato vf-1J Miria custom super valkyrie

1/48 Yamato VF-1A low vizibility 2 (wood type) with full armor

    1/48 Yamato VF-1A kakizaki

    1/48 Yamato super+strike parts set

1/48 Yamato VF-1J Stealth version (added)

    1/60 VF-0A valkyrie

    1/60 SV51 alpha

  8. hello,

i'm a bit new to macross.

I am in the process of buying some of the macross zero toys (vf-0A i ordered allready) and now i'd like to add a yamato 1/60 sv-51 (as they are on sale at the moment), but i have difficulty deciding which to buy of the 3.

Besides color are there any difference between the ivanov, nora or alpha version?? (weapons, extra's and notably quality wise)?

And for thoughts purpose, which would you buy if you could buy only 1 of them?

Thanks for the answers in advance,

    D.
