I'm given to understand that in order to download DLC for Macross 30, such as the Minmay/Mylene VF-1J skin, I need a JPN PSN account. Now, this is going to be the first time I've ever used a PS3 in my life, so how do I go about doing this?

There are a few tutorials on youtube on how to do this. I've used one to great success (it was awhile ago and can't find it now).

The vf-30 has been discussed allot in the Macross 30 game thread.

One of the theories that I liked the best is that this is a interceptor model.

The same fighter generation as the yf-29 but with a more specialized mission role.

Have you guys gotten a payment request from nippon yassen? They usually send one 2weeks before release. I haven't seen one myself.

We have the option of paying through our user account. Log in and go to your orders, you'll have the option to pay or it will say you have already paid. I paid this week just to see if the price in US $ was dropped automatically to the new price (it was).

I'd go with a vf-25 first. It's cheaper than a yf-29 & looks good without any of the option packs (super/armor..). All three choices have a super pack option should you want to dress them up, but the 25 also has the armor pack, (hopefully a tornado pack soon). I have both the 25 and the 29 (and the 117ex w/ super pack on order) and would recommend either. I think it you should look at 1st - price, 2nd - availability and 3rd - personal preference.

I just purchased the regular BD, the limited super dimensional package being sold out made my mind up for me on which version to get. My wallet may just recover before the VF-4 comes out.

I got the YF-29's Super Pack from them and use them quite often.

I used the Gundam Lining marker GM02, that's the grey one. The black gundam lining marker would also work, but might be to bold. I've had the best results with these for panel lining.

I've panel lined mine with a gray lining marker. It came out nice and subtle.

I've just got mine in. It's night and day from the v.1. No QC problems that I can find. The paint app is perfect. This is the toy we deserve after spending all that money on the v.1s'. Couldn't be happier, now I just have to wait on the armor pack to come it to make this one complete.

I'm planing on panel lining mine. I've done it on my Alto v2 and it looks great. I'll upload some pics when I get it finished.
