  1. I'm kind of excited here. I wrote SMT and they seem interested in hearing what we want. Here is the note I sent to SMT:

    > I have talked with several members of the macrossworld forum, and we were

    > thinking of putting together an order list for the item... I know the

    > project is not even official yet, but I was thinking we could give you an

    > idea on how many orders you could get on this item. I thought this might

    > provide some incentive for you to work on this project. Do you think that

    > is appropriate? If so, let me know so I can communicate this to the folks

    > on the forum. If not, no problem. There is just a lot of folks who are

    > VERY excited about the project.

    >

    > Thanks again,

    > Brian

This is the note they sent back:

    > Hello Brian, by all means. All input is welcome. The Destroid will be up

    > with pictures very soon so hang in there. Also other Macross or Mech suit

    > ideas are welcome. WE don't know what folks want unless they tell us :)

    > Sincerely, Colin Omilusik

now you got me all excited ass well

    lets make that wish list.

  2. He can act! Like a doofus. I love The 70's show and it wouldn't be the same without Kelso (what's up with the switch on Eric's sister?). Fortunately there are movies like this one that reveals that he has no range and I have no interest in. What we have here is a case of Vinnie Barbarino. Ashton has a chance to make it in Hollywood after all. And like John Travolta's films, I wouldn't watch any of his movies either.

    Vinnie who???

  3. I noticed the top of the page mentioned only PS2 and X-Box. Is this title not coming to the Gamecube? I'd like a chance to play it, but I don't want to buy another system just for one game. Can anyone clarify? Is it indeed coming to all the systems or just the two mentioned in the headliner? Any help would be appreciated! :)

    Thanks,

    Melissa

yes they are also planning on releasing it on the gamecube. ;)

  4. And if on cue...

Slashdot has a story up about the FBI raiding a guy's place in SF suspected of being involved in the code theft.

I'd always been in the "True Story" camp as a similar hack job was done on another recent FPS my wife was working on at the same time, but the fact that they are into legal action and police work would lead me to think it would be very... em... "disingenuous" for them to go that route if it really was faked.

    here is the story

  5. Interesting. That would certainly counteract the "I don't wanna be the Axis" phenomenon that has cropped up in Call Of Duty. On the downside, that means that all the weapons are coded exactly the same for both sides. Of course, since no game has actual bullet ballistics (yet) the only real difference between an AK and an M16 would be the rate of fire. Not that it bothers me, but it for sticklers for accuracy it would be a point of contention.

just wait till you complete your Special Forces training, then you can fully customize your M4.

    That is so cool B))

Hmmm....maybe after I finish my delicious dinner, consisting of Doritos and Kokanee beer. :p

    LOL

  6. I have been playing AA for over a year now, and I must say it is a pretty good game (and it is free ;) )

The bad guys have AK47, AKS-74U, RPK and RPGs.

Thanks, I must have missed that little blurb about the "OPFOR." But what do they mean by this comment?

Squad members always see themselves as being U.S. Army Soldiers. In contrast, members of the opposing team appear as hostile opposing forces (OPFOR). But in reality, everyone playing America's Army is actually playing the role of a U.S. Army Soldier.

Is this supposed to mean that regardless of which team you pick, the other side will appear as the "Godless commie scum?"

that is correct soldier, now drop and give me 20 :D

  7. then maybe you should try Americas Army ;)

Actually, my friends and I were just discussing that game a few days ago. For a free game, it's supposed to run pretty good. How balanced is the gameplay? The official site doesn't really give you any idea what the bad guys get for weapons.
