  1. Wow, I havent been here lately. But to hear whats going with this is disappointing to say the least. But moving on. Hoping something happens but its hard to justify the price on buying this one...

  2. I can not afford any of these at this point but I know that I do want at least one VF-25 toy and I am having trouble deciding which one I like best. I like the supers a lot. But Ozma and Altos supers are not available execpt for some crazy hoop jumping and insane prices right? The Luca was going to be my only VF-25 but the off colors are too off in my taste so maybe my only choice is the michael which is very nice looking. Or wait for the Armored Ozma but that will probably be like $300 huh? (just guessing).

Will there be a super ozma and or alto coming later?

I've pre-ordered the DX Luca and Michel. I haven't gotten them yet. If you want to get one, I think you should wait and get the Full Armor Ozma. I'm not too fond with the whole exclusive items especially the Full Armor for Alto. I like it better if it was in a bunde thats just me :) As for Super Ozma and Alto, I dont know. Just wait and see what happens....

  3. I gave up on the idea of an entire resculpt back when the first resin shots were posted... all I'm hoping for are some fixes and easy refinements. We've already seen that it's possible to have the legs positioned correctly in fighter mode, I'm just hoping for a mold change to make that a reality and not just a work around.

The other stuff I can learn to live.

I agree that there are some "fixes and easy refinements" that can be made for the current DX line to be better. I don't think its farfetched to ask it to be improve and not a total rescuplt.

  4. Some clear photos for the prototype DX VF-25S Armor from GA Graphric report - TAMASHII NATION(魂ネイション)2009.

I wonder if Bandai has made improvements to the neck to make it a tad bit taller. Looks good...

Also I wanted to ask, even though right now money is kind a tight,..... the main valks from frontier are almost done, Alto, Luca, Michel, Ozma and their respective armors and full armored packs and the Quarter. Any speculation as to which is coming further down the line for the DX line, the VF-27 or maybe the VF-171???

  5. Don't worry. Yamato isn't planning to drop this monster (not to be confused with the Monster Mk II) until around this time next year. So clear your schedule and bank account for Q1 of 2010. There hasn't been any new information pertaining to the MSRP---last rumor was 50,000 Yen. The good news is that, as of 3:30pm EST today (March 11, 2009), the currency exhange between the US Dollar and the Japanese Yen is 1 USD = 97.3826 JPY. This has lowered the price to $513.44...down from $535 the week Yamato announced the SDF-1's release. The bad news is that its STILL over $500! lol

Just in time for the year end bonus :D Just kidding....

  6. Wow... I haven't check the site for the past couple of weeks, then this. Please don't come anytime soon take your time, I need to save up some more money. I thought I already did. :( One of toys I've always wanted is the SDF-1, and it's coming. I'm not going to miss on this.

Yamato wait at least at the end of this year, where hopefully the economy goes up along with mine. :D

  7. wow, what a beauty Grimlock is, now i dont know which to choose, this or the Robotech Beta Fighter green when it comes out.... Economy not so great, we are supposed to save, yet prices on these are on the rize, why isnt this grimlock the same price that MP optimus or Starscream, it just makes it so much harder...

I understand what your feeling.....you can also attribute the rise of the yen to the dollar value to that. Hopefully the US economy as a whole will start to regain investors trust more in 2009. Back to topic, that grimlock sure looks good..

And that ROTF Optimus Prime looks great....

  8. It's not a bundle per-se. It's a "weathering edition" and limited to 100 pieces via raffle. It's part of the same deal with ordering the limited Edition 1/48 Max TV-1A. If you ordered the TV-1A you were put in the Hik 1S raffle. You would already know if you had won.

Ahh.. thanks for clarifying it for me.....

What I wanted was a 1/48 Hikaru VF-1S with the strike/fast pack combo. I have both but I wanted it on one box. Thats why I ask if it was a bundle. Im not sure if I made my intentions clear. Didnt really care if it was weathering or not.... appreciate for clearing this up

  9. In March the 1/48 TV Max 1A comes out (magazine limited). Around the same time the 1/48 Hikaru 1S Strike comes out (limited to like 100 pieces). The end of this month the 1/60 Weathering Edition Tomahawk comes out.

I'm already working overtime....damn. I want that 1/48 Hikaru 1S Strike when it comes out. I bought the Hikaru VF-1S and the fast packs seperately, when it came out. I want it in a bundle. Why does it have to come at the same time... this, grimlock, maybe the VF-11B. Just my luck

  10. I would also add to that that it would make more sense to pre-order 4 VF-11Bs. Grimlock is one character and you really have no need for four of them...

    But 4 VF-11bs would be a cool fleet :)

    Pete

I think 2 or 3 is enough VF-11b for me, most likely 3 though. Im not sure what the price is but Im guessing it would be around +/- 200 so for 4 VF-11 is a lot to swallow right now...who knows what happens a couple of months from now.... but im setting aside some money for both. I collect certain transformers and macross toys, far from a completist, I try to buy what I like if my budget allows for it... thats not a lot :D lol
