  1. I just watched the first episode of the second half of Fate Zero and that pretty well done dogfight between 2 JASDF fighters vs a Kraken and a Vimana... so I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Berserker F-15J DLC in the near future :D.

With the way the planes move in multiplayer, it'll feel right at home.

Although AC:AH is not on the list of compatible games - does the game have to be specifically written for the stick or will the stick just re-map the thumb controls? I'm part of the "old generation" - I can't fly with my thumbs!

The compatibility for a flightstick ought to be written within the game. If not, the game will either not recognize it or just treat it like a dualshock controller. The below Amazon review describes that little frustration.

I should be able to test A.C.A.H. with the T.M. HOTAS X tomorrow.

I used the HOTAS with the helicopter demo and it was enough for me to wait for a serious discount before buying the full game.

I have a link to an Amazon review of the game from a Thrustmaster owner. While the reviewer states that the Thrustmaster does work, it's... umm... funny.

  3. Just caught the first episode of Persona 4, the Animation. Follows the game almost to a tee. Not sure why I bother, since I've played the game numerous times and know everything that happens. I guess it's just nice watching the characters and plot without worrying about leveling up and all.

Pretty much seems that way. But it's my first foray into Persona 4 (despite having the game) and I like what I see so far. I'd say they're doing a pretty good job presenting it to keep me interested.

It's also kinda neat to hear Orphen's voice after so long...

Anybody have suggestions for the better anime's on Netflix? I recently got the service and found that they have anime, but the non-mecha titles didn't seem that familiar to me becides common one's like Naruto....

Although it's not an anime, you should check out My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I just found out that it's on Netflix now. ;)

  4. frakk dubstep you say?

    Wub wub wub mofo.

    ...

You know, even my love for Touhou is not enough to get me to love dubstep. (Maybe tolerate it... maybe)

Don't mind me, just going link the same piece in a different flavor.

    ...

    lol.

  5. I have something beautiful to share with you all. Just a handful,

Bah, two video limit and locked repeated posts. Dangit! I wanted to share all of these via embedding :(

Linking will just have to do...

    Radical Dreamers (Quintet)

    Final Fantasy Suite

Super Mario Galaxy - Wind Garden

Silent Hill 2 - Theme of Laura (Try to ignore that tiny moment at the 2:19 mark btw.)

Anyway, enjoy. I'm sure all of you will.

  6. I have, I've dropped my laptop off a couple of times and the turn around was 1 or 2 business days everytime.

Neato, that eases my worries a bit after reading those (old) negative stories about their support. Though it would've been nice if they told me what was exactly wrong with it... That motherboard gave me the most frustrating and oddest problems I have ever dealt with...

  7. Out of curiosity... Has anyone ever RMA'd anything to Asus before, particularly motherboards? Cause I just checked my RMA status on their website and they just gave me a 1-day turnaround saying my mobo is "repaired" and no other details whatsoever... Which kinda strikes me as odd. Not to mention, their canned email response says " approximately 10 business days"...

  8. Just out of curiosity, has anyone signed up for the World of Planes beta and World of Warplanes alpha?

Thought you guys might be interested if you all haven't signed up yet.

Blatantly copy-pasting from Neogaf, but have you seen the music composers list for Kid Icarus: Uprising?

Motoi Sakuraba: Tales of, Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, Baten Kaitos, Dark Souls, Golden Sun

Yuzo Koshiro: Streets of Rage, ActRaiser, Shinobi, Etrian Odyssey

Masafumi Takada: Killer7, No More Heroes, God Hand

Noriyuki Iwadare: Lunar, Grandia, Radiata Stories

Yasunori Mitsuda: Chrono Trigger/Cross, Xenogears, Shadow Hearts

Mitsuda alone would make it incredible, but adding in the composers of Grandia, ActRaiser, and Valkyrie Profile?

    Oh... my...

For those who have a Club Nintendo membership, they're giving away Kid Icarus augmented reality Idol cards.
