  1. The Rocky saga continues with the upcoming spin-off Creed. Written and directed by Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station), Creed focuses on the son of the late boxing champion Apollo Creed. Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm/Human Torch in Fantastic Four, Oscar in Fruitvale Station) stars as Adonis Creed, while Rocky Balboa himself, Sylvester Stallone, will return to mentor the new guy.   2. Ok someone watched Alien & Prometheus and then went to Mars with a slightly lower budget... The Hardware looks good, though. But the trailer already has more worn tropes than you can shake a flamethrower at.
  3. Coming to cinemas on July 23 is Salt, directed by Phillip Noyce (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger), written by Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium, Ultraviolet) and Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential, The Postman) and starring Angelina Jolie (like nobody here knows who she is...), Liev Schreiber (Sabretooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Luke in Children of Men, Adrian in 2012). In the film, Jolie plays Evelyn Salt, a CIA operative who is on the run after a Russian defector tags her as a KGB sleeper agent plotting to assassinate the visiting Russian president.
