My ex is considerably older then me (like 12 years). Her family buys _ANYTHING_ if its on sale. She bought that her self planning on giving it to her nephew, but never did. So it wound up in a hefty bag in the basement for the past 20 years! There were about a dozen MOSC "Star Wars Droids" figures in the bag too. I told her to keep them and put them up since they go for about $25 a figure MOSC.
Since the scans turned out bigger then I expected I put them on Rapidshare
Bwahaha, yeah yeah I know... I was doing brakes earlier that day so my hands were all messed up. By the time I took that pic I had already washed my hands 4 or 5 times.
Finally got it, and took pics.
The box is far from mint as you can see, but it is sealed. For 22 years old I have to say the color is pretty good. So do I open it and flatten the box, or do I leave it as it?
Yeah I already did that, but sometimes theres a huge gap between MISB and loose, a boxed one recently went for ~$100.
I do plan on keeping it, but I'm not a big Macross/Robotech collector, so I was curious.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
Yeah thats right, my EX is giving me a MISB Officers Battle pod she found in her basement. While I plan on keeping it, I'm curious what this bad boy is worth.
I'll post pics when she sends them to me. she said the box is a lil beat-up but its still sealed according to her. I do know it's a Matchbox and not a Exo-Squad ver.
After picking up a Gundam Panel Liner Marker at my local hobby shop, I felt like there is still something better out there. It's called Prismacolor Premier 005 by Sanford! I know Sanford makes Sharpie's but the 005 point is much finer then anything else at my local art store. So I thought I'd share the find.
Wow thanks for all the info guys. Now I'm really pissed that I missed the chance to get a 1/48th yamato for $50 not once but 3 times this week! One of them even had the armor pack!
Last year (maybe 06 actually) I picked up a Masterpiece VF-1J and I was far from impressed. The Macross bug has bit me once again, but I was so put off by the build quality of the Masterpiece VF-1J I'm having second thoughts. Are the Yamato's better? If so how? The plastic on the Masterpiece feels cheap and brittle, and the only die-cast is on the legs. Are the Yamatos any different? I'm considering trying to find a loose VF-1A. If I like the VF-1A I would then consider getting the 25th anniversary VF-1S, and YF-19.
