  1. I received my combo last friday, transformed it into Gerwalk and Battroid, and opened the shoulders . No cracks and no problems, the shoulders are fine and tight. I also didn't managed to break the catch which hold the metal pelvis bar (and there is not an horrible stress mark there, like I did have from the beginning on my VF-0A). My only complains thus far are the rear landing gear of the Ghost, which would transform Bruce Banner into something green in less than 2.3 seconds ; and the fact that the left leg, like on my VF-0A, is still a little floppy in fighter mode (it does not hold very well to the backpack, while the right one is perfect on both). Other than that, the toy is excellent (I like it even better than the standard VF-0A), and it looks pretty impressive with all the weapons and the ghost .
  2. HLJ is preparing my order, so it is also out in Japan .

One of those catches broke recently on mine . Anyway, it is not that catastrophic in fighter, as there are 2 others claws near the backpack, which also hold the legs. It is more a concern in gerwalk, if you try for put a dynamic pose on the stand. But it is not that bad, as I firstly imagined. It is just mostly annoying when you transform the toy. Also, there was already stress marks on this claw from the very beginning, and the other is totally fine. Anyway, I think it could be easily corrected with glue for models, but as I'm currently doing huge works in my flat, I have at the moment no access to even the most basic component of my modelist equipement . Everything is in box, except my VF-0A .
  4. Apparently no one noticed yet this page about the stand-alone Ghost : http://www.amiami.com/shop/?vgForm=Product...ate=review.html It seems to finally come with complete equipement, not just the Ghost itself, and IMHO it is (quite surprisingly) not looking bad on top of the VF-0A...
  5. I had no problem with my temjins . Just take care of the shoulders, mines never broke, but they still seem fragile. The Cypher breaks without touching it, the fei-yens have problems at the ankles (often already broken in the package) and to the skirts (... I realised that I had no problem with my 4 because I always use the smaller skirts, which never broke... for mines, at least ), the specineff is okay, the apharmds are good (even sometimes very hard to pose, some pieces, especially the shoulders pads, are very hard to remove/clip). Of course it's just about durability, as they all look cool .
  6. The RVR-42 Cypher from Kaiyodo/Xebec is maybe the most fragile action figure ever built during the history of mankind; even the Fei-Yens from the same line, which are 3 times thinner, are more sturdy. Comparing Kaiyodo's Cypher to Yamato's YF-19 is like, hum, starting a fight between Kate Moss and Mike Tyson . So you shouldn't have many concerns .
  7. Thanks a lot graham for the pics . The SV-51 looks pretty nice, despite I don't like the fact that there is nearly no *air-tunnel* in the intake... But of course, there is the mecanism behind, and I can still mod a cover, so that won't be a big concern.
  8. Well, comparing to some action figures I have... I won't name, for instance, kaiyodo and the virtual-on collection, which was about buying already-broken new figures in blisters. One of these pieces, the RVR-42 cypher, all its articulations were made with clear translucent and bristle plastic, which was looking invisible, but also was breaking with any random reason, like a too strong breathing. And of course, the main pieces were made with soft vynil, which was griping the articulations after a few weeks in the same pose. I should also precise that I'm extremly careful with my figures... But, after a few years, this baby is breaking just by holding it. So of course, Yamato is supposed to do *toys*, and it's a lot more expensive, but in comparaison, the VF-0 still seem very sturdy to me . Anyway, I started collecting macross transformable toys recently, so maybe I will change my mind in a few years
  9. Unfortunately, I also have stress marks on the clips of my VF-0A. That was the first thing I noticed when I received mine, straight from HLJ, 3 months ago. The stress marks were there during the first transformation. I also have little stress marks on the left shoulder, and a little crack on the right one. ... Anyway, it didn't stopped me from preordering the Shin version . At least, it won't have the shoulders problem now
