Paint color advice for a VF-1S Strike Custom

Hey ya'll -

I thought that I would get back into customizing things again. I haven't done any serious work since my college days (4 years ago). I am in the process of trying to make a BanDai 1/55 Super Valkyrie into a Strike, but I need a recommendation on what color red to use. I have always liked using Tamiya paint (water based) and then clear coating the finished product. What color red do you suggest?

Please help a brother out!
