A friend told me he saw an add for robotech mini dvds. Is this true? What are they? How many episodes are on them and what is the advantage of mini dvd versus regular?

They're one episode per disc and cost about $5. It's ADV's answer to Central Park Media's "Anime Test Drive" DVDs.
