    Macross Chronicles #1-50 Complete Original 1st series

    Excellent + condition, Mags look hardly read. All pages intact, awesome covers of Valks and mecha! I bought these off of Yahoo Japan only a few months ago and paid big money for shipping, I'm selling to pay some bills. Looking to get at least $250 for whole set..but feel free to PM me with an offer...I will ship these media mail and charge exact shipping with a quote from Post Office. I ship from Los Angeles.     Different publisher, different arrangement on the issues since there are now 80 issues over 50. What's different? There's more material, more info covering the Macross Frontier movies since the original publication finished during the release of the movies, new artwork, etc. If you own the original 50, there's less incentive to get the new ones as one would own ~2/3 of the material already. The new release does have some corrections to the original release.

    I am interested in getting all issues of Macross Chronicle, but not clear about a few things? Why did they redo the whole 50 issues , what specifically is the difference between the original 50 and new issues. And lastly besides ebay, where is the best place to buy them for a good price. Thanks for your help.

    I lowered the price drastically cause I need to raise some cash fast to pay a few bills. I paid way more than starting, even Buy It Now price. It pains me to sell but again I need the cash.     Anyone order from these guys lately? I see that they are like the only ones who still have VF-0S with ghost booster in stock and am tempted to buy from them via online mail order, but given their history of mixed usually negative reviews. What do you all think should I go for it? Or just show up to frank and Sons and deal with them directly?

    Today is Wednesday and I went to Frank and Sons but Treasure Island's booth was closed! I'm going to try again on Saturday Anyone know if or when they are open on Saturday?

    HI I would like to give my 1/60 toy valkys that "weathered " look, but am totally new to it. i read some people have used a Gundam pen in gray for best results, Any tips on doing this? How do i get best results

    Or How about promodeler's wash? How does that work and what products do i need.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for your time!!

    Macross DYRL Fx DVD question

    I bought a copy of the DYRL Fx DVD on ebay, but it wasn't from Sundevil. I read in another thread that there are a bunch of HK bootlegs of the FX DVD being sold. So how do I tell if I have a real FX or a bootleg?

    I searched the Newbie FAQ thread, but found nothing on this.

    I just bought DYRL Perfect Edition "Fx" version off ebay watched it, but after reading this board, not sure I have the right version,

    "Dvd_animation @yahoo.com" pops up on the bottom like three times throught the movie, Is the Minmei Megaroad clip supposed to be in this version of the movie at the end ( it isn't)or is that just in Flashback ? Why do they call in perfect edition?

    Wow, I went to F & S for the first time yesterday, very impressive! A few of the big shops were closed though, maybe they'll be open next time I go.

    Thanks, I now know which shops have the good selections and are good to work with, like Yoshi's, TI (is that the same as TISINC?), what is "HLJ" though? And where is "Vince"?

    Also, one more question, is there any place there that's good to check out to get old 1/55 valks, esp. the older rarer ones like super ostrich, elintseeker, strikes etc.? I didn't see any in my browsing but then again it's easy to miss stuff there, there's just so much!
