    Here's my crazy theory about sheryl's ending

    after watching ep 22, in the final scene where they show that planet with that strange ring around it, its giving me some weird birdman vibes maybe in the end, the inhabitants on that planet would heal sheryl somehow.

    having sheryl die in the end due to the v-type infection is really lame... it could be played out dramatically, but in the whole scheme of things really lame. as well, wasn't mao nome's thesis something about preventing the spread of the v-type infection? if so this would tie that up offering a solution to heal those who are affected. tho me thinking this, it also makes me think that this kinda ending is something along the lines of macross zero.

    sorry if it sounds random to you, i guess i'm just posting my thoughts at the time of writing

    so i was rewatching the hd raw, and during the battle out in space, there was a blue vf-25 fighting... looked awfully close to Mikhail's vf-25... anybody else noticed it?

    the main sms characters were inside frontier...

    @ 19:51, right shoulder has 003 on it... it could just be studio reusing animation, but i found it odd nonetheless

    whats strange as well is the blue light that appears as the hole is being sealed...

    Well, if Mikhail is indeed Zentraedi, he can survive in space right?? If he is only wounded he can manage to still alive, now the issue is how does he get picked up and healed, maybe, like somesone said Brera was there or some other VF-27 and saved him, maybe Ai-Kun Vajra type didn't become evil and picked him up or maybe Ozma was already outside figthing while Mikhail was sucked up into space.

    sure zentradi have better space vacuum resistance, but there's the issue of oxygen supply. Mikhail was only in EX-Gear, not a full pilot suit. If a person was to save him, that person would need to be pretty close in order to reach him. Now another problem that would affect him would be the wounds he suffered. I have no idea of the details, but getting stabbed in the chest doesn't help his chances of survival.

    had to second this because honestly from episode 1 on everytime we see the NUNS pilots they are basically pissing their pants. Makes you wonder what kind of recruitment they have. The only time they did act cocky was when they had the ability to fight back in Ep 14 but then as soon as those rounds became ineffective they were right back to "what!?" "nooo" "why!?!??!?!" haha I mean seriously the poor guys are cannon fodder to a T

    as well, ozma was able to fight hand-to-hand against brera down in the sewers (a confined area) AND it was pitch black. the only possible way that he would die by the hands of a nuns officer is in his sleep, and even that i doubt is that easy.
