  1. I'll buy whichever version has the shark's mouth tampo printed on, as I really like the shark mouth. For me no tampo printed shark mouth = no buy.

I don't care about having Ranka or Sheryl markings.

    Graham

Shark mouth is the only thing that stands them out from the original monsters (at least to me)...

it makes sense if they wanna remove the mouth/eyes for the SP ver...but don't they dare touch the regular ones...

  2. Thanks for the pics..but this should not be the exclusive base that's suppose to come with the SP ver.

I was thinking it will be more diorama-like...

I agree, the base is the only thing that I'm waiting on. I'm sure it will be a let down but I've gotta at least see it before I make my choice.

or maybe they're gonna go cheapo on us and give us some cells (cardboard cutouts) with the clear base <_<

  3. I've got a VF-25F Tornado on order from amiami....can't resist the price..got the last one before it went out of stock again...

considering getting the vf-0a (hopefully it releases before the promotion is over)

and damn the mac quarter's price is freakin unbelievable....regret i pre-ordered it at such a high price last time

  4. I signed up a couple of weeks ago but I haven't made any posts yet. :)

I'm still new to 3A toys, but I have to say the Bramble is one of the best toys I've ever laid my hands and eyes on.

Huge fan of PopBot, Zombies VS Robots, and WWR, right here too.

I don't have any of the maquettes, but they look awesome.

they are really really good...i'm badly hooked to them..........amazing details & design

    Sorry for the OT....

  5. "ouch!" - VF-1 :p

you need to slide off the shoulder cover and loosen the 2 shoulder screws.

    Thanks....Hmm...i tried to...but it wasn't like slide..more like pry...hehe

    will try again tonight....

hope i don't end up amputating him

  6. Thanks graham!!!

Received the hinges yesterday....sorry for spamming your inbox..accidentally clicked "send" one time too many.....

I tried to replace my VF-1S shoulders yesterday....quick question (sorry if this has been asked before)....

How do you guys yank the ball joint out from the socket?

I tried yanking it hard...but i think it'll damage the socket more before it'll pop out...

So I need to pop the shoulder armor off to remove the screws so that I can remove the ball joint am i right?

    Thanks!!!

  7. Hey Guys, this is still on, my wife just had our 2nd baby over the holidays, we are back home and after a week break i will be back at work on this for a very early spring release, likely mid march. Once the molds are done i will take orders until those molds are toast, which will likely be a pretty short run since this is pretty big...

    thanks

    mike

Hey..congratz on the new family addition...will be eagerly waiting for your return

  8. The area around the Battroid's neck looks like it has a dark gray plug-in armor piece. Was that also something that was featured on the V1 GPS armor?

There is on the 1/48 GBP but I woudn't say plug-in..more like placed loosely...but this one looks secured.

I'm not sure bout the 1/60 v1 GBP though

  9. I picked up a box of the first series when they came out. Managed to get no duplicates. My box had:

    VF-0B, VF-0D, VF-0A, VF-1A Kakizaki, VF-1J Hikaru, VF-1J Max, VF-1J Miria, VF-19P (bleh), VF-25G, VF-25F and VF2ss

Conveniently, the second set comes out on my payday!

I believe each case does not have duplicates but you may not be able to get everything coz there are a total of 16+1 secret and there are only 12 pcs in each case

  10. I almost took the bait too. I think anyone reading it did. You just did what we all thought of. No harm there.

    And I agree.

I was thinking about the Fuke and Shinobu just to complete the series. But I think the scales are different. I believe the Megahouse are 1/15 and the CM's are 1/18. Also, CM's contain die cast where the Megahouse don't. I hope they can pass as a set. Cause I really don't want to buy the other three. Especially if they suck.

anymoon has a very good review of the CM's. You should check it out.

yeah...I've gone thru Jenius' reviews on them....i don't really like the CMs designs, that's why i went with MH...they are different in scale and would probably look akwardly small...but desperation has an amazing blinding effect on collectors

  11. In the Philippines, I think a 1/60 V2 costs around P6,500 (approx. US$138). A Big Mac meal is around P100 (approx. US$2). So a 1/60 V2 costs around 65 Big Mac meals.

ahhhh.....so this is what this thread is all about......

see what a simple precise analogy can do, shorten 2 pages into 1 single post.
