  1. :):) The one thing I have problem with my picture is that I get one side of the images very sharp and clear while the other is blurry. How do I avoid that?

I usually use the Macro mode and no flash except light lamp/bulb.

e.g. if I photographed the VF-1S frontal, rear, or sideway, then the pic is okay. But if I tried to do at 45 degree, then the nosecone portion would be come clear, but the rear section as the leg or tailfin would become blurr. How can I make the pic look sharp/ clear throughout?

  2. :) :) I got the Roy Focker 1/100 for $19.99. Although the overall figure itself is good, the joint connection is easily breakable. Everytime I transform from one mode to the next, I keep on popping a piece, nehhheee :lol:

The ads on the box appear to have the figures with paint application which look very crispy and beautiful but the actual figures itself use stickers. The skull sticker on the tail fin isn't transparent enough so you see that milky field background on a black tail fin :lol:

  3. :D:D Dude, go with the 1/48 VF-1S Roy Focker w/ Super & Strike fast pack!!!

It has better looking head and it's a perfect world for both Macross and Transformers since it got the same head as Jetfire, heheehe.

  4. :):) Not bad at all, I'll probably get them consider their cheapy price, the stand, and I definitely like that 6" size which go perfectly with my Transformers jets. Looks like another Roy VF1S for me......don't know why, I love the 1S model.

I'll pass on the doll.........never a doll fan......and that price is too pricey for my taste.

  5. Only rumors at the moment regarding the 1J to be bundled with the GBP.

:):) That's great by me as I still need the 1J. My belove 1S can still retain the Super/Strike armor.

I can't so wait to have the Bundle set. Bring on the GBP

  6. :):) I haven't visited any Macross boards since the FP release, and on my return.......I'm bang with the exciting new of the 1/48 GBP!

That baby is so mine!! I don't know whether to the get 1/48J now or just wait for the bundle set if there's one.

  7. is there any site with a review of the fast pack for the 1/48?

How does it attach/ does it firmly attach?

And, what is that extra odd piece of plastic that comes with the fast pack?

    Thanks

:):) Overall, the connection between the robot and fastpack is very secure and fit very nicely.

    If you need more review:

  8. Wouldnt that yellow your valk eventually?

    Yeah?

:):) If it's a natural UV then yes. But he's talking about an artificial tube UV, I don't know if it will have the same effect or not. I have never seen or tried it. Personally, I would avoid anything next to UV.

  9. :):) Cool, thanks Kevin. I just check your website and fortunately you guy still have the perfect edition.

    So, I have 2 questions:

1 - Do all 3 DYRL DVD cover have the same extra or different? I tend to lean with the one that give the most extras.

2 - Where are you guy locate, U.S?

  10. :):) I notice on the model box art, they had Rick 1J GBP number as 1, Roy 1S GBP as 4, and Max 1J GBP as 7. I'm referring to the number on the chest on that red palette.

The question is, how come Rick/ Hikaru gets 1? Or there any logic or just a random thing?

  11. :):) Okay, I need to see this movie. As I headed on Ebay, I saw 2 cover on DYRL, the regular one and the one with Minmay Singing. And if I'm not mistakenly, I believe there was a third one with the 1J on the cover.

The question is, are all they the same or different, meaning cut, uncut version, threatrical version, etc. Also, or there any English dialog?

    Thanks.

  12. :):) Both the Bandai and the 1/48 has the swing bar is that one is hidden in the back the other is visible in the front. Both has their advantage and disadvantage. The visible swing bar of Bandai allows the leg to do a forward kick without any interferring. So in that sense, Bandai valkyrie has real hip.

The hidden Yamato swing bar on the back gave their Valkyrie a better appearance and more articulation, but to do a forward kick, once has to spread out the wing first.

Man, I am praying Yamato release a 1/48 GBP. The 1/60 looks too damn delicious

From your lips to GOD's ears, man!! And I totally agree 'bout the 1/60 GBP, that's just a thing of beauty!! Can't wait to have mine! :D:)

:):) Just curious, has anyone or Grapham contact Yamato regarding the 1/48 GBP? I must have that 1/48 GBP :D:D

  14. :):) Okay, now I'm lost again. In my earlier thread, I asked Macross fans to list VF-1 jet number, symbol, and type. And the response was:

    For Roy Focker/ Fokker:

DYRL = 001, 1S, Black Skull logo on the fast pack.

TV = 001, 1S, Macross logo on the fast pack.

    For Rick/ Hikaru:

DYRL = 011, 1A, (Red Heat shield), Skull logo on the fast pack.

DYRL = 001, 1S, (Red Heat shield), Skull logo on the fast pack.

TV = 001, 1S, (Black Heat shield), Macross logo on the fast pack.

TV = 101, 1J, Macross logo on the fast pack.

    For Max:

DYRL = 001, 1S?, Blue Skull logo on the fast pack.

DYRL = 012, 1A, Blue Skull logo on the fast pack.

TV = 303, 1J, Macross logo on the fast pack.

TV = 313, 1A, Macross logo on the fast pack.

    For Ben/ Kakizaki:

DYRL = 012, 1A, Green Skull logo on the fast pack.

TV = 212, 1A, Macross logo logo on the fast pack.

    For Miriya/ Milia:

    DYRL = N/A

TV = 1J, 505, Macross logo on the fast pack.

    =======================

So now Max 1J is 202 and Milia is 303?
