My useless comment. I'm watching a lot of Anime, I mean, the regular weekly TV anime, and the graphic quality is really good. On the other hand, the story is a pale copy of the original Macross until now. I don't need the teaser to know what's next. Anyway, it's still one of the best anime of the April 08 season.

Not quite. The VF-25 is the latest variable fighter to come out of development. Apparently it is so new, no one really knew it was being deployed yet. There is plenty of speculation whether it is the next front line fighter for New UN Spacy or just a new fighter designed for colonial defence (similar to the VF-5000).

It does seem to mark a slow down in fighter development since the last new fighter we know of was the VF-22 back in 2045 (in the Macross 7 series) and some have speculated that Spacy is "refitting" existing designs such as the VF-17 and turning them into VF-171s for example.

You mean every colony is in contact and they share development informations? Who developed the VF-25 (in case someone knows)?

But in the end, with the HD version (1280 x 720) the CG is even more obvious. 2D and 3D don't blend as well as in the Shinsen version.

It took 5 hours in my case. Adding 500ms every 3-4 minutes of the film. I used a software hopefully to "timeshift".

I don't know if somebody is doing a new sub for the remaster from the start. In case just send me a PM and I'll send the modified file (it's not my file anyway)

I'm giving Macross Frontier 4 thumbs up (I forgot my job while watching).

I retimed the subs I found at imacross server because there was a serious delay. The speed of the remastered DVD is slower.
