Hmm, has the SDFM TV Super Pack always been unusable in atmosphere? I can't switch to Fighter mode in some levels with one on.

Also, how do you manually purge the Armor/Super Packs?

The pack that use in atmosphere as fighter mode are VF-0 super pack, SV-51 booster equipment(cannot transform to other mode), YF-19/VF-19A Fast Pack, YF-21/VF-22 Fast Pack and VF-2SS Super Armed Pack

Frontier chronicle mission where you start with Ozma then Alto to save Luca then Quarter:

Now that 2nd/4th and 5th(?) wave starred Vajra plinks away at the Quarter just like butter! Swatting them should be just like mosquitos, but noooo!

Any tips?

I also play it hard when I first play. My complete method is to try to focus on upgrade missile accurate and effective distance(in row 2 and 4), also cannon tune up in accurate and fire speed.(row 2 and 5).

While playing, keep the distance with Vajra(with star) as far as possible. Within 2500~3500 use missile, over that range use cannon to attack. If they around you not more than 1500 try melee attack. it may damaged them up.

You can try to use its SP attack, although when it fire not very accurate, but you can turn your fire angle while shooting(by pressing directing button). But it is difficult to aim the target, you have to practice it.

Macross Frontier, Quarter and Galaxy are get from extra mission.

Frontier is complete Macross Heaven(マクロス天国) in S rank(about mission no.11)

Quarter is complete Ultimate Bomber(マクロスアルティメットフロンティア・天) in S rank(about mission no.13)

Galaxy is complete Yak Yak deCulture(ヤック・ヤック・デカルチャー) in S rank(about mission no.12)

Type A is the Valkyries SPA did not changed, also the weapons and performance will not change to original if the pack health is used up.

Type B is the Valkyries change to pack SPA(normally is full weapon fire, you have to try what it SPA as the game didn't mention at anywhere). If the pack health is used up, it will purged and lost pack weapons and performance.

To manually purged the pack, is press L, R, O, X, □ and △. (Total 6 buttons)

Forget some thing.

If you are using Type A and the pack is purged yourself, all weapons and performance will back to original.

As far as I can tell I totally aced the Gamlin mission and killed him instantly, but I only get an A. I actually think he is not supposed to die... Usually Glavil comes out and flies away.

As for the VT-1C.... Well, I'll keep trying, but I'm not really sure if I'm doing it right. You just have to shoot down the nukes and get the whales to escape, right?

She is a support character. I can use her in Freeplay but not campaign (the same with the VT-1C).

I've killed Gamlin and got SS ranks in this mission.

And I've play this mission again and find one question, are you well protected the Battle 7??

For Sivil, you can unlock her when you got S rank in M7 mission 6(おちていく小悪魔: Fly Fly Fly) plus complete last M7 enemy mission(我が名はゲペルニッチ: Spirituous Dreaming) at any ranking

As some common how to get S or SS ranks, you can see it from mission clean report.

First, "HP Bonus", "Time Bonus" full score is 30000pt, you must try to get full or near full score. If one of them is low scores, you have to try to improve them. "Special Bonus" also is the main key to get the S/SS rank, so try to get them all too. And the last are "Combo Bonus" and inside killing list "Excellent bonus", these are not important to get S/SS ranks if you get high score at other bonus.

HP Bonus will deduct when your basic HP is decrease(it means your addition pack HP damaged won't deduct this score)

Excellent bonus is how many missile you shoot down in the mission(flared missiles in fighter mode won't count)

I find it strange that I can buy tune points for the VT-1C even though I have not unlocked the mecha. And I think I have an S rank on all the Dynamite missions, except the last one with the whales. Do you unlock the VT-1C when you S-rank that one? I still don't get what you're supposed to do. Someone explained recently but it was not clear. Something about "defecting whales"? Does not make much sense to me, sorry... can I have a clearer explanation, please?

Also, In the M7 mission "Gamlin's Revolt: I Call Your Name" I only get an A, even though I beat the hell out of everything with no problem as I've got a souped-up Fire Valk. In fact, I even killed Gamlin in an instant. Am I supposed to give him a chance, so that Glavil comes out of his body?

And I read that you get the Sound Boosters when you S-rank "Fleet of the Strongest Women: Totsugeki Love Heart". I can only get an A on that one, but I will keep trying.

Lastly, how do you unlock Sivil? I thought I had unlocked her because I can select her in the Freeplay missions, but she's not in my roster in the campaign mode.

I still have a lot of playing to do, because I am still unfinished in both DYRL and Mac Plus whilst going back and trying to S-rank everything on D7, M7 and M0, and have still not touched SDF TV. Can't wait to try the VF-9 and VF-2SS.

Oh, I forgot to mention Frontier! Yeah, still halfway through that, too. So far M7 has been the most exciting, though, and DYRL is a real novelty. Damn hard, though.

Yes, D7 last mission is the key to get VT-1C. You have to get S ranks to unlock D7 chronicle mission, than you have to completed the chronicle mission "Galaxy Whale Singing: Zola"(no matter which ranking) to get VT-1C.

"Gamlin's Revolt: I Call Your Name" you must defect gamlin to complete the mission as this is the mission target.

For getting the S rank, just see my top of this post, it may help you to get S rank.

Sivil is not a playable character on campaign mode.(I don't know she can play in free mission mode~~)

On shop level 20 and bought everything in the 'New Mode' (3rd) category, including the expensive stuff that was 25K+ and 36k+ IIRC, but still no stat limiter or era unlocker. Well, to clarify, I think I've bought them, but they are not working yet.

Mind you, I've only played the Zero and SDFM eras so far (been playing the poo out of them to level up everything (35 hours spent just on 2 eras). Just started on DYRL.

I helped you to search, the 25k(パイロットスキル制限解除=pilot skill release) is your supporter can start to learn exclusive skill like Sheryl, Minmay attack etc.

36k(時代制限解除=Time/Era release) can use other era mecha playing. But there have one other requirement is you have completed all era/story missions.

P.S. I find a new information about how to get cost free at Nyan Nyan shop, but very difficult.

The shop must reach 30Lv, and all mode must completed(include enemy, chronicle, extra, EX Challenge Mode and ultimate mode). how can i get it~~~~ in ultimate mode over Lv3 always mission fail because of time over

Raising your heart level with Sheryl & Ranka (both) will lower your shop costs.

Additional information:

The price is depend on your main character and shop attender hearts

4 big hearts have 10% off

5 big hearts have 20% off

To raise their heart there have two methods.

One is use them as support, second is buying thing from them.

Strange, that's the opposite for me. Buying stuff from Ranka in the shop is more expensive than buying from Sheryl.

Also, what do you mean by the phrase "As always, held triangle when I went to the shop"?

When you held triangle button to get in shop(means press both of them to get in the shop). Sheryl must appear at the shop~~

I've been playing the D7 chronicle mission for a while now but I still can't figure what the bonus actually is. Can someone please translate it?

Getting a SS rank for this mission is a real pain.

Edit: finally got a SS rank by luck (still curious about what the bonus is though)

For the mecha SPA, if make a list, it is too long and I haven't get all the mecha up till now.

So , I decide to write down some common words in SPA and translate it for you. Just simply combine these word than you may know what it's SPA

全弾: All bullets and missiles

発射: Fire

超: Ultra/ Hyper/ Super

射撃: Shoot

格闘: Grapple

コンボ: Combo

3体分身: You divide into 3(means there have there of you in map, other two is your delay, but the attacking hit count as other one)

超高速化: Hyper Speed(it is very useful on grapple attack)

ダブル: Double (there will have a partner mecha (e.g. both Max's and Milia's VF1J) appear on screen)

小隊: Team/ squad

全軍: Army

突撃: Assaulting

変形: Transform(that means after SPA, you will transform to one mode, mainly fighter or battroid)

気化爆弾投下: like MAF, shoot a missle than have large explosion

Defender:

大回転超射撃: 360 degree hyper shoot

スパルタンDX = like MAF, grapple combo(it appear faster than normal grapple combo, means nearly no miss to reach to enemy)

Tomahawk:

超火炎放射: like MAF, Fire up the fire.(effect very short distant and cannot move while attacking, so use it like grapple attack).

VT-1:

ミンメイデート : Minmay appear, I'm not sure what effect(maybe effect on Zentradi).

Boddle Zer:

触手乱舞: like MAF, tentacle attack with wide range.

YF-21:

リミッター解除 : Limiter release. like MAF, crash to enemy.

X-9; VF-171EX(LA); RVF-25

ゴースト乱舞: there have some different in different fighter. X-9 is like formation attack, Luca custom you can see ghosts release to near enemy to shooting.

That is very disappoint with me.

Also in M7D the VF-5000T-G is fixed with FAST Pack and say is standard equipment but VF-5000-G is totally disappear that FAST pack.

Another part of skill list:

Command skill

Reload: All weapon are reloaded.

Defense: Your defense are double, also you will not get stumble while under attacking.

Flight carvinal: In fighter mode, your tail will spread out color smoke. (○ button to set ON/OFF, □ button to change the color of the smoke)

Shock guard: While You are guarding the enemy grapple attack, the damage will give back to enemy.

Reflection: The beam attack are reflected and bullets/ missile attack have no damage.

Emergency: Have a short time invincibility.

Free boost: No more boost consumption within a time.

Missile slow: All enemy missiles are slow down.

Grapple up: You cannot guard but the grapple damage on enemy is normal 3 times.

Support shoot: Macross Cannon attack. (There must have Macross Class friendly on the map)

Hyper: All weapon are reloaded, attack are faster and short time invincibility.

Ace: Attacking damage, speed and booster are 1.5 times as normal.

Bullet up: All weapon bullet are 1.5 times.

Recovery: You and friendly around you are healed, dead friendly also relive.(that include non-parter)

Sheryl: You and friendly attack are 1.5 times damage. HP are healed a little.

Kakizaki: Enemy around you are taking heavy damage.

Ranka: Enemy movement are stop awhile, you and friendly around you are healed.

Voice: You and friendly around you are healed.

Ishtar: You and your friendly attack are 3 times. Defense is decrease to half.

Minmay attack: Zentradi weapons and their mecha state are decrease, other are increased.

Horobi no uta: Enemy around you are taking heavy damage.

Sivil: Sivil appear in front of you, and barrier is stay with you in a short time

Sharon:All enemy movement are up-side-down, left right inverted

Max World 2: All are freeze except you, SPA also activity at same time.(you could not activity your double SPA as your partner is freeze also)

Here the skill list. It is from left to right, up to down.

Auto skill

Rolling Plus: Speed of rolling in fighter mode is faster, also can continue rolling up to 4 times.

Eagle Eye: Distant of lock-on is double; lock-on speed is 1.5 times.

Rescue: When rescue your partner, he will have 50% of full health.

Anti-missile up: Anti-missile have 1.5 times (Maximum up to 150).

Crusher: When attack battleships and bases, damage is double.

Combo up: more easy to get combo (that means there have more time available between each hit)

Support: When your health is below 30%, it will recover to 50%. (it activity once only)

Pine cake: When your health is 0%, it will recover some of health and have a short time invincibility. (it activity once only)

Partner exp up: Your partner will receive double skill point when mission complete.

Awakening: When your health is below 30%, you will have a short time invincibility. (it activity once only)

Circus flying: All mecha can fly in the air.

Triangler: The change of confidence/love is significant increase.

Counter-attack: When your health is below 30%, it will recover 6 blocks (all) of your SP. (it activity once only)

Boost saving: The usage of booster is normal usage of 75%.

Sniper: While attacking, all type of barrier is effect-less.

SP saving: The usage of SP is normal usage of 75%.

HP max start: When the mission is divide to two half, when second half start, you will recover all HP (not include the purged pack re-equip)

Destroyer: The performance of destroid will increase when you using it.

Tune point up: After the mission, Nyan Nyan point is 0 but the tune point is double.

Alone: All your partner, supporter and operator confidence/love decrease. (Zentradi, Vajra use)

Ear plug: All song effect and effect cutting half. (Gavil use)

Exp max: Enemy attack damage is double also your experience.

Nyan Nyan: After the mission, tune point is 0 but the Nyan Nyan point is double. ( Hayao Kakizaki use)

SP 100 start: When mission start, you already filled 3 blocks SP.

Few interesting points:

There are 2 characters that I haven't seen... they are the in the bottom of the character screen. The last girl, I think is one of the operators on board the Macross... I could be wrong though.

In the Mechanics section, how come they only have image of Focker's valkyrie?? We can only control him? Also, his battroid looks funny... if you look carefully at the right hand, you'll notice that there is another smaller 'hand' beside it on the left (of the right hand), weird huh?

Also, in the main screen there is a picture of a battroid with its wings spread... how come it's so... SHORT?!

I sound like I'm complaining, but I'm actually excited that they begin to populate the website (after delaying for a month?!) - hope to see more stuff soon (like System and more info in other sections).
