  1. I had bought a Macross item through Overdrive and everything arrived ok but I noticed that one portion was similar, so in essence I got two of the same pieces (two lefts). I've been trying to contact Overdrive for about week in regards to the problem and I haven't heard back from them. Does anyone know if I can contact Yamato directly for a replacement part?

  2. I think you may be talking about "Book Off", which is next to the Mitsuwa market near Highway 163.

They have a large selection of manga and Japanese books and a smaller selection of Japanese audio CD's and Japanese DVD's (and VHS) and a very small selection of games (PS2, PS3, Wii and maybe some others). The video selection isn't huge and most of the manga seems to be relatively newer stuff that is discounted.

I wouldn't expect to find any Macross stuff (like I did when visiting a Book Off in Japan), but you might get lucky.

Thanks alot. Would you know if they have the manga To-y (1-10), Nineteen19 (1-12), the the To-y soundtrack? Thanks

  3. I'm looking for the Max Chase(Series 3). If anyone has one and could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

  4. Hey Draconus, i looked at the HLJ.com HCM Pro Eva-s and i would have to rate the Revoltech Eva's above them.

For one, HCM Por hands are "glued" to the short and long swords. In my books that's a big nono.

The revoltechs maybe be a little shorter (not sure yet how big the HCM Pros are) but they look more the goods.

The overall look to the sniper gun, and weapons looks not as polished, and a little drab.

The Revoltechs stand out more to me.

The only thing the HCM Pro's have got going for them is that they have the weapons tower, and i remember

seeing a pic of an AT Field Barrier that comes with these releases? Or was that a special pack...

Anyways, you have my go ahead to collect the Revoltech Re-Build Evas.

    THanks

  5. There are some cool toys coming out for this remake and the HCM Pro looks like it'll have the best ones.

I am almost ecstatic that Eva 01 is coming with a full blown Tokyo 3 weapons tower, not to mention AT fields.

So it looks like the finale of rebuild 1 will be the sniper shoot-out, I'm actually looking forward to seeing that re-animated.

I was looking at these yesterday and I also noticed that Revoltech was releasing the Rebuild Eva's as well. I'm a relative newbie when it comes to toys and I was wondering which ones would be better to get, the HCM Pro ones or the Revoltech ones. Thanks

    VF-0S

    Uh oh....pic quote......

I think it's Sept 08, which will realistically be released up to a month late. Yamato never announces stuff THAT early.

Just curious, why would it take so long for it to be released? If they have the VF-0S 2nd reissue coming up and the Ghost B ready to go, then why would it take a year to bundle them together?
