Quoted for truth.
I'm actually surprised that BOB hasn't been banned for the way he talks to everyone in here.
Hes not talking badly towards anyone in the forum, but more about the situation with yamato and their products. I think its fine that he has his own opinion about the products he has purchased.

That aution is from a Hong Kong seller. They put down the price of the valk but raise the shipping cost like crazy
The total usually comes out to be around 150-160 I think

You can try Redwolfairsoft.com Custom jobs like that are usually from the east coast. Ive seen them floating around some overseas stores. Keep in mind that they come for a ridiculous price. The kit itself can get you another upgraded gun. If I remember correctly, I think the gun is an electric gun, not a co2.
btw, im not sure if this belongs here.

oh sorry, yes the YF-19. Im thinking about just buying another one and fixing it from the start before I tf it. Or wait for the reissues... BUT I HATE WAITING.

Willing to buy a spare or recast of the gray thingies on the neck that is prone to getting stress marks and breaking in half.
-
Not the neck, the two gray things that hold it in place. That common thing with stress marks. On my 3rd transformation it snapped and now I have two YF-19s. The reason it snaps off is because its not in place as it was designed to be. Is anyone making another one that actually fits the way its suppose to?

Is anyone making a recast for the YF-19 two Gray plastic pieces that hold the neck? I am willing to buy it.

Anyone know if treasure island gives refunds?
I bought a Yamato DYRL VF-1S Focker from them and when I got back home to open it up, o-rings are already seeping out before transformation, laser on the head shows scrapped paint, the loose fingerprinted tape was obviously taken off and put back on. I don't know if this is a reoccuring issue, but Im pretty ticked off I just bought a used valk for the price of a new one.
Yes, I have had other 1/48 valks and I know the condition they are suppose to come in.

The prices are very good at Frank and Sons, but the people can be a bit shady. Make sure that the Valks you get are unopened. I bought my Yamato 1/48 VF-1S from a guy on the 300 aisle and when I got home and opened it I noticed it was repackaged, paint was worn off on the head lasers, and dirt left around the belly.
I can tell they sold me the one that they had a fun test ride with.
