Im curious how do you deal with those SMS markings in your Vf-25s that are now partly torn off or completely peeled from the toy?

I would also liked the FP Hikky version, but since most of my DYRL valks have " Bent " vstabs, due to the fastpack, Im hesitant to get the FP version.

Just transformed my YF-21 back to fighter mode first time since I got it last 2008. But I managed to " Crushed " the flaps, the one just behind the intake, forgot to open it up while securing the back plate in place, and in turn, stress marks are present now from the flaps, any body here have managed to order replacement parts of the YF-21? Unlike the YF-19 which have parts that are coded, looks like Il have to send pics to HLJ and see if they can get the replacement flaps.

I would have bought this if it is not a web exclusive. so Il just be contented with the Brera I have. an yes, the un even green does not really bother me at all.

This would have been much better if they printed the 01 on the tail and leg fin. modex numbers are important to me.

Im ok with the tinted canopies, but I noticed one of my VF-1 has minor hairline cracks in the canopy. dont know if this is natural. I have seen a pic of a much worst defect on a tinted canopy here.

after holding off from buying any expensive Macross items for the past 5-6 months...

i finally got me a 1/60 VF-27... yay!... and a VF-25F Tornado too.

also got me a couple of "monster" items.

i also finally got myself a 1/60 VF-1J M&M set.

BIG THANKS to ff95gj for helping me out in acquiring a couple of these items... and then some!

i hope i can find some time to take these out of their boxes... and space to display them!

Just back from my UK business trip. Time to catch up on the PMs and threads, as I haven't been online much in the past 10 days.

Some good news. While I was away, another batch of the off-white hinges for the DYRL VF-1A/S were delivered to my office. Not a huge amount, but enough to cover all those who are still waiting, as well as hopefully the recent enquiries I see in my inbox.

Please note that even with this new batch, the quantity is still limited and there is not enough to supply "just-in-case" preemptive hinges for toys that are still fine.

This means, I will only supply hinges to members whos toys are actually broken or showing serious stress marks. If I get requests for a large number of hinges, I may ask to see photographic proof that you actually have that many broken toys.

Anyway, give me a few days to clear through my backlog at work and I will start answering the PMs and getting the next batch ready for shipment.

Same here, VF-1A and 1S Hikaru is kinda loose on the hip bar compared to my other V2s....but its never a big deal on me, as I just display them.

with the year almost over, its very unlikely that I'l add another valk/s, considering that I just spent another $$$$ on diecast jets this month.

If you mentioned the problem is on VF-1D in the first place then you probably don't have to send it back. You probably will have the same problem again from the replacement if you can't figure out the extra instruction insert that comes with VF-1D on Hikaru figure.

Thanks for the tips:). exhausted all possible ways to fix the problem ( Above suggestions taken into consideration ) pilot no pilot. nothing is wrong with the canopy, no excess plastics, burr etc. Transformation wise, not really and expert on toys, but owning a couple of 1/48s and the latest 1/60 V2s valks, makes transforming this toys is as easy as it can get.

just shipped back the package to HLJ, glad they accepted the return. now Im waiting for the replacement toy. an yes its a VF-1D.

maybe instead of replacing it open the toy up to see if it is the canopy or you didn't transform it right or open the toy and fix it your self if you can then replace it

Yup it is the canopy, I have a few jet fighters here and one have this kind of problem.

Anyway if Hlj will not do anything with this, already ask for instruction from another hobbyist at the other forum, to fix my F-14 canopy, that like the valk, will not sit flush with the fuselage, lets see if his solution can be applied with the toy.
